College Football Week 8 Parlay Picks

Parlay Picks College Football Week 2

It’s already time to come up with College Football Week 2 parlay picks.

My parlay starts with TCU at Arkansas. Can the Arkansas Razorbacks cover an under 3-point spread versus TCU? I also like Oregon versus Nebraska. Will the Ducks cover a huge -10-spread against Big Ten Nebraska? The final game I like for my College Football Week 2 parlay has North Carolina as an 8-point home dog against Louisville. How will the Tar Heels perform?

2-Team Parlay Pick College Football Week 2

  • Arkansas -1.5
  • Oregon -10

TCU at Arkansas
When:  Saturday, Sept.9 at 3:30 pm ET
Where: Razorback Stadium, Fayetteville, AR
TV: CBS
Odds: Arkansas -1.5

Analysis: Last season, Arkansas beat TCU 41 to 38. It was one of those insane college football games where both teams scored at will. I’m hoping Arkansas’ defense is better this season than it was last season.

So far, the D looks pretty good. Granted, TCU is a much better team than Florida A&M. Still, in Week 1, Arkansas held Florida A&M to 175 total yards. It was a good performance from a maligned defense in 2016.

TCU won their Week 1 game 63 to 0 over Jacksonville State. In truth, this game could go either way. I’m confident Arkansas gets the job done because they take on the Horned Frogs on their field.

Pick: Arkansas -1.5

Nebraska at Oregon
When:  Saturday, Sept. 9 at 4:30 pm ET
Where: Autzen Stadium, Eugene, OR
TV: FOX
Odds: Oregon -10

Analysis: At first, it sure appears as if the Oregon Ducks are going to have a hard time covering a 10-point spread against Nebraska on Saturday, Sept. 9. The Ducks allowed Southern Utah to score 21 points.  The Ducks allowed SUU to rack up 365 yards of offense. But, the Ducks’ D forced 2 turnovers and only allowed 2.6 yards per carry. That’s already a huge improvement from the 2016 Oregon defense.

Nebraska only beat Arkansas State by 9 points, 43 to 36, as a -14.5 favorite in Week 1. What’s truly scary is that the Huskers allowed the Red Wolves to amass 497 total yards.

Nebraska’s offense looked great versus Arkansas State. There’s no way the Huskers outscore the Oregon Ducks, though.

Pick: Oregon -10

3-Team Parlay Pick College Football Week 2

  • Arkansas -1.5
  • Oregon -10
  • North Carolina +8

No. 16 Louisville at North Carolina
When:  Saturday, Sept. 9 at 12:00 pm ET
Where: Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC
TV: ESPN
Odds: North Carolina +8

Analysis: Louisville beat Purdue 35 to 28 in Week 1. Uh…the Cardinals were favored by 25.5 points. Think about it. Louisville’s D allowed Purdue to almost pull off the upset.

Yes, UNC lost 30 to 35 to Cal at home in Week 1. But, Cal has one of the top offenses in the nation. UNC stuck with a decent Pac 12 team while L’Ville had trouble dominating one of the worst teams in the Big Ten.

I think 8 points are just too many to give to a North Carolina team that’s much more talented than a squad like Purdue. The Tar Heels should keep this game closer than the spread.

Pick: North Carolina +8
