Week 6 College Football Parlay Picks

Can #5 Washington keep the good times rolling against rival Oregon? How will Miami handle its first foray into the Top 10 in years? Will Colorado keep its place in the Top 25?

Week 6 College Football 3-Team Parlay

  • Washington  -9
  • Miami -3
  • Colorado +4

#5 Washington at Oregon
When:  Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 pm ET
Where: Autzen Stadium, Eugene, OR
TV: FOX
Odds: Washington -9

Analysis: Washington might be the best team in the nation. Although Alabama and Ohio State have looked great, neither one of those teams has played a top-notch squad like Stanford yet this season. Washington dominated Stanford 44 to 6 as a -3.5 home favorite. The Huskies have the offense, defense, and coaching to win the College Football Playoff this season.

What’s wrong with Oregon?  A couple of things. First, defensive coordinators have figured out the offense. Oregon hasn’t scored more than 38 points in any of its last 3 games. Second, Oregon’s defense is as bad as it’s always been. The Ducks’ D is allowing over 36 points and over 490 yards on average per game.

The Ducks may not sniff 21 points against Washington’s defense. The Huskies roll big time in this game.

Pick: Washington -9

#23 Florida State at #10 Miami
When:  Saturday, Oct. 8 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
TV: ABC
Odds: Miami -3

Analysis: The Florida State Seminoles haven’t played nearly as well this season as so many thought that they would. The offense is actually better than many thought it would be. It’s the defense that’s the issue. The defense is giving up 438.4 yards per game. The defense allows 35.4 points per game.

Miami is a different team with Mark Richt as their head coach. Richt had trouble at Georgia. At Miami, so far, he’s been a blessing. Richt’s optimism and game planning has led to a 4 and 0 Hurricane start. What’s more impressive is that Miami is 4 and 0 against the spread. They’ve won their last 2 road games SU and ATS as a road favorite.

They should beat Florida State by more than 3 points on Saturday.

Pick:  Miami

Week 6 College Football 3-Team Parlay

  • Washington  -9
  • Miami -3
  • Colorado +4

#21 Colorado at USC
When:  Saturday, Oct. 8 at 4:00pm ET
Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
TV: Pac-12
Odds: Colorado +4

Analysis: How good is USC?  After the Alabama loss, the Trojans bounced back with a great win against Utah State. Then, they proceeded to lose 2 in a row:  10 to 27 to Stanford and 27 to 31 to Utah. But look what happened in Week 5? The Trojans bounced back with an absolutely stunning 41 to 20 win over ASU.

Can USC keep it going against Colorado?  I don’t think so. Colorado’s only loss this season was to Michigan. In that game, the Buffaloes had a good size lead before relinquishing it in the second half. The Buffaloes are 5-0 ATS. I think they’re good enough to keep this one within 4 points.

Pick: Colorado +4
