Three nationally-ranked title contenders will look to take down their unranked Week 7 opponents when they take to the gridiron this coming weekend, but only two of them are going to cover the spread in their respective matchups. As usual, if you’re looking to increase your annual college football betting bankroll by stringing some wagers together as part of a potentially payday-producing parlay, then you’ve come to the right place!
2-Team Parlay Pick College Football Week 7
- Syracuse Orange
- Washington State Cougars
No. 2 Clemson Tigers (6-0) at Syracuse Orange (3-3)
When: Friday, October 13, 2017 at 7:00 PM ET
Where: Carrier Dome, Syracuse, New York
Odds: Clemson -21.5
Analysis: Clemson wasn’t overly impressive in beating Wake Forest 28-14 this past weekend, but they still managed to get the win as quarterback Kelly Bryant suffered a sprained ankle in the third quarter. For their Week 7 matchup against Syracuse however, I like the Orange to cover the chalk as a three-touchdown home dog, seeing as how they not only got past Pittsburgh 27-24 this past Saturday but have played three straight solid games in losing at NC State 33-25 in Week 5 and falling at Louisville 35-25 one week prior.
While the Orange certainly won’t pull off the outright upset in this ACC matchup, they’re the pick to cover the spread seeing as how they’ve gone 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning road record while Clemson has gone 2-5 ATS in its last seven conference games.
Bet the Orange in all your Week 7 college football parlays.
Pick: Syracuse +21.5
No. 8 Washington State Cougars (6-0) at California Golden Bears (3-3)
When: Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 PM ET
Where: California Memorial Stadium, Berkeley, California
Odds: Washington State -14
Analysis: No. 8 Washington State throttled Oregon 33-10 this past weekend just as I predicted a week ago and the Cougars are the easy pick for me here against a Cal team that got smacked around in their humbling 38-7 beatdown loss against Washington this past Saturday.
Cal has not scored more than 24 points in dropping their last three games while Washington State is a scoring machine as they average a stellar 39.7 points per game this season under offensive-minded head coach Mike Leach.
Cougars quarterback Luke Falk doesn’t get mentioned as one of the best signal-callers in the country, but that’s exactly what he’s been in throwing for 2,000 yards with an impressive 19 TD passes and just two interceptions. Washington State has gone 14-3 ATS in their L/17 games following an ATS win and a bankroll-boosting 15-6 ATS in their last 21 conference games.
On the flip side of the coin, Cal is an awful 10-28 ATS in their last 38 games following a straight-up loss and 2-6 ATS in their last eight conference games. Washington State wins and covers the spread.
Washington State is a strong bet for all of your Week 7 college football parlays.
Pick: Washington State -14
3-Team Parlay Pick College Football Week 7
- Syracuse Orange
- Washington State Cougars
- Michigan Wolverines
No. 17 Michigan Wolverines (4-1) at Indiana Hoosiers (3-2)
When: Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM ET
Where: Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, Indiana
Odds: Michigan -5
Analysis: No. 17 Michigan may have suffered their first loss of the season in Saturday’s humbling 14-10 loss against in-state rival Michigan State, but that just makes me believe they’re going to really lay an emphatic smackdown on an Indiana Hoosiers team that isn’t in their same caliber of teams despite beating Charleston Southern 27-0 this past weekend. I know Jim Harbaugh’s team has issues at quarterback where John O’Korn looked pretty awful against the Spartans this past weekend, but Michigan’s defense is so good that they’re going to force Indiana into at least two or three costly turnovers en route to the commanding win in their Week 7 Big Ten battle.
The Wolverines are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following an ATS loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an SU loss while Indiana has gone 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 conference games. Michigan’s stingy defense is giving up just 13.6 points per game and the Wolverines have won 10 straight in this series dating back to 2003. Combine all of that with the fact that Jim Harbaugh is probably really ticked off and the Spartans become the easy pick in this matchup despite their pitiful play at quarterback this season.
Michigan is my final five star Week 7 college football parlay pick.
Pick: Michigan -5
