2018 NFL Wild Card Weekend Parlay Picks

2018 NFL Wild Card Weekend Parlay Picks

Three of the four wild-card weekend matchups have the look of near-certain locks that all make for great parlay picks. Now let’s find out which three games they are!

2-Team Parlay Pick NFL Wild Card Weekend

  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Jacksonville Jaguars

Tenessee Titans (9-7) at Kansas City Chiefs (10-6)
When: Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 4:20 PM ET
Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
NFL Odds: Chiefs -8
Total: 46

Analysis: Tennessee is mediocre on both sides of the ball this season and really, just inferior to Kansas City in this wild-card matchup. The Titans actually allow more points per game (22.2 ppg) than the average (20.9 ppg). Kansas City has some pretty good playmakers in Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, and the fleet-footed Tyreek Hill, not to mention some outstanding defensive players in cornerback Marcus Peters and linebackers Tamba Hali, Justin Houston and Derrick Johnson. Of, and then there’s the fact that Kansas City is back on fire, having won four straight to end the regular season. The Chiefs win this one by double digits to dispatch a Titans team that probably shouldn’t even be in the playoffs.

Pick: Kansas City -8

Buffalo Bills (9-7) at Jacksonville Jaguars (10-6)
When: Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 1:05 PM ET
Where: EverBank Field, Jacksonville, FL
NFL Odds: Jaguars -8
Total: 41.5

Analysis: Speaking of teams that probably shouldn’t be in the playoffs and the Buffalo Bills are another team that ‘lucked up’ to get into the postseason. The Bills needed a huge upset and they got it as Cincinnati took out Baltimore in Marvin Lewis’ final game this past weekend. Still, the Bills really don’t have enough talent on either side of the ball to beat a Jacksonville team that finished inside the top five in scoring and points allowed. I’m expecting Jacksonville to come out of the tunnel fired up and focused after dropping their final two regular-season contests. I’m feeling another double-digit win in this one!
Pick: Jacksonville -8

3-Team Parlay Pick NFL Wild Card Weekend

  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers (11-5) at New Orleans Saints (11-5)
When: Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 4:40 PM ET
Where: Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans, LA
NFL Odds: Saints -6
Total: 49.5

Analysis: Drew Brees and the Saints have beaten the Panthers twice this season and they’re playing at home in their playoff opener, but Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers just don’t look like they’re going to go down quietly in this trilogy – if at all. Carolina has won seven of their last nine games while the Saints have lost three of their last six games with two of those losses coming against playoff participants (Rams and Falcons). While I’m going to urge you to back Brees and the Saints in this one, I certainly don’t see a touchdown win by New Orleans. Simply put, take the Panthers and the points in your back pocket.

Pick: Carolina +6
