Are There Any Cleveland Browns ATS Bets You Must Make?Josh Bailey
How bad are the Cleveland Browns going to be in 2016? Bad enough that they are not favored to win a single game the whole season right now. That’s right, the Brows are listed as an NFL betting underdog for each of their 16 regular season games. Is there any hope? Should you bet on Cleveland to cover a single spread in any of their games this season? Let’s find out.
Top 4 NFL Games When You Should Bet The Cleveland Browns ATS
- Week 3 – Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins (-7.5)
I think that Cleveland rolling the dice with RGIII is a much better proposition than the Dolphins not resigning RB Lamar Miller and instead giving so much money to Mario Williams. I’m not impressed with the Dolphins’ front office. I think Hue can get his young team ready to give it a great shot in Week 3.
- Week 4 – Cleveland Browns at Washington Redskins (-7.5)
With Josh Norman, the Redskins now have a shutdown corner. Or…do they? Norman turns 30 this year and up until last season, he wasn’t on anybody’s radar. It helps as a defensive back when you can play behind one of the best linebackers in the NFL in Luke Kuechly. There are no Luke Kuchley’s at Washington. This is another game where Jackson’s Warriors can step it up enough to keep it close.
- Week 15 – Cleveland Browns at Buffalo Bills (-9)
I have so little faith in Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills that I believe Cleveland has a shot to win this game straight up. Buffalo is a mess of an organization right now while Cleveland at least is showing signs of stability in the front office. You may not agree with the moves that the Browns have made, but you have to like how everybody is on the same page. By Week 15, Cleveland should be improved while Buffalo will be pointing fingers again due to yet another wasted season.
- Week 16 – San Diego Chargers (-2) at Cleveland Browns
Cleveland has a chance to win this game as well. It all depends on where the Chargers are in the playoff hunt. If Phillip Rivers has the Bolts on the doorstep to a playoff berth, I think San Diego wins it outright. But the Browns will be an improved football team. So, if Rivers and the Chargers have been eliminated from the playoffs, Cleveland will win this matchup.
