Three weeks of NFL action are in the books…almost. So far my NFL ATS picks have cashed in nine out of eleven times including four out of five wins this last week. Now I have a handful of NFL Week 4 ATS picks for you to cash in on.
NFL ATS Betting Analysis Week 4
Thursday, Sep. 26
Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers -4
Philadelphia is reeling. The Eagles, a preseason favorite to make the Super Bowl from the NFC, have lost a couple in a row after beating Washington in Week 1. What’s so alarming is that Philadelphia was favored to beat Atlanta and Detroit in Week 2 and in Week 3. Losing to the Falcons on the road might not be a huge deal. Dropping a game to Detroit in Week 3 at home as a -4 favorite is.
Green Bay is 3-0 SU after dominating Denver 27-16 in their last. The Packers finally got their offense going. Aaron Rodgers should torch Philly’s secondary because the Eagles allow 293.7 passing yards per.
Pick: Green Bay Packers
Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts -7
After Week 3, it’s apparent that the Oakland Raiders are where they should be, as one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Raiders lost 14-24 to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. Oakland is now on a two-game SU and ATS losing streak.
They battle a Colts squad that’s surprisingly 2-1 after 3 games. Indianapolis quarterback Jacoby Brissett heads into Week 4 off the best game of his career. Facing the Atlanta Falcons, Brissett was awesome when throwing for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns. He can light up the Raiders the way he lit up the ATL Birds.
Pick: Indianapolis Colts
L.A. Chargers at Miami Dolphins +16 ½
In the last two weeks, the Dolphins have failed to cover as a +18 dog against New England and as a +22 dog versus the Dallas Cowboys. The Chargers should beat Miami by more than 17 points. But, the Fins aren’t this bad. They can’t be.
Not only that, if you’re a Miami fan, you had to be encouraged by how the Dolphins hung with the Boys in that first half. The score was 10-6 at the break. Also, the Chargers failed to protect a lead against the Houston Texans. That could wear on them heading to Florida this week.
Pick: Miami Dolphins
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens -5 ½
The Ravens failed to convert 2-of-3 fourth downs in their loss to the Chiefs. They also failed to convert a couple of 2-point conversions. If Baltimore had done that, they might have beaten Kansas City instead of losing 33-28.
The Ravens remain one of the very best teams in the NFL. The loss shouldn’t deter their fans from thinking playoffs. Both of Cleveland’s lines aren’t that great. Baltimore should easily cover the spread in this matchup.
Pick: Baltimore Ravens
Kansas City Chiefs -7 at Detroit Lions
KC is 3-0 both straight up and against the spread. The Lions are a decent football team. They beat the Eagles on the road in Week 3. Detroit’s not going to stop Patrick Mahomes from doing what he wants, though. Chiefs roll to a fourth straight win and cover.
Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
