ATS Analysis NFL Wild Card Weekend

The NFL playoff field is set and as four teams enter Wild Card weekend, only two shall pass. Let’s take a closer look at the ATS betting trends for your best NFL Wildcard weekend bets.

ATS Analysis NFL Wild Card Weekend

NFC Wildcard
Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys
When: Saturday, Jan. 5 at 8:15 pm ET
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
Odds: Dallas -3

ATS Analysis: Seattle pulled out a Week 17 victory to secure the fifth seed in the NFC Playoffs. The Seahawks must now travel to AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Seahawks are the best rushing team in the NFL, averaging 160 yards per.

The rushing attack’s the main reason the Seahawks went 9-5-2 against the spread during the regular season. In away games, Seattle is 4-3-1 ATS. Dallas went 5-3 against the spread in home games this season, but the Seahawks get the points. Those points should mean a ton in what figures to be a low-scoring game.

AFC Wildcard
L.A. Chargers at Baltimore Ravens
When: Sunday, Jan. 6 at 1:05 pm ET
Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
Odds: Baltimore -3

ATS Analysis: The L.A. Chargers beat the Denver Broncos but missed out on winning the AFC West in Week 17 after the KC Chiefs dominated the Oakland Raiders. The Chargers must now travel to Baltimore where they’ll battle the Ravens in a rematch of their Week 16 loss to Baltimore.

The Ravens won the AFC North. But they only went 8-8 against the spread during the regular season. Baltimore was an awful 3-5 ATS in home games. The Ravens’ ATS record at home doesn’t compare to the Chargers ATS record on the road.

Los Angeles is an incredible 7-1 against the spread in away games this season. The Chargers appear more comfortable on the road. Phillip Rivers should do enough to keep this one desperately close. Chargers get the nod to win against the spread.

NFC Wildcard
Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears
When: Sunday, Jan. 6 at 4:40 pm ET
Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
Odds: Chicago -6.5

ATS Analysis: By virtue of beating Washington in Week 17, and Chicago beating Minnesota, the Philadelphia Eagles get a shot to repeat as Super Bowl champs. It won’t be easy because they must start the quest to repeat on the road against the very good Chicago Bears.

Chicago easily won the NFC North Division. The Bears are on a roll both straight up and against the spread. Chicago’s won 9-of-10. They’ve also gone 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games. That’s a much better record against the spread than what Philadelphia’s done.

The Eagles went 7-9 ATS on the season. The good news is that Philly went 4-4 ATS in their road games. They match up well with Chicago and the postseason is something new for almost every Bears player and every Bears coach. Taking the points here.
