Bet Monday Night Football Lions Vs. Giants in an NFC Battle
Preview: New York (7-9 SU,7-9 ATS) hasn’t looked overpowering by any means this preseason, but somehow the Giants have managed to go 5-0 SU and 4-0-1 ATS. The –Men limited three of their preseason opponents to 16 points or less while scoring 20 or more three times.

Detroit (7-9 SU,6-10 ATS) won each of their last two preseason games to go 3-1 SU and ATS in their four tune-up contests. The Lions used an active defense to give up 12 points or less in three of their preseason games while scoring 23 or more in two games.

Analysis: Detroit may be just 1-6 ATS in its last seven games and 1-5 ATS in its last half-dozen home games while New York has gone 4-1 ATS in its last five games on the road, but I like the Lions to get the home win and narrow ATS cover in a contest that looks like a thriller waiting to happen.
The good news for bettors that are thinking about playing the Lions in this contest is the fact that Detroit has gone 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 1 while New York has gone 4-8 ATS in its last 12 road games.
My Pick: Detroit 28 New York 24
