The Indianapolis Colts vs Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Game

Bet the Over On These NFL Week 11 High Scoring Games

Three matchups caught my attention as virtual locks NFL Week 11 High Scoring Games.

First the Peyton Manning’s Broncos storm into St. Louis to take on the Rams and their Dr Jekly and Mr Hyde defense.

Then Tom Brady, Gronk and the Patriots invade Lucas Oil Field to take on Andrew Luck, TY Hilton and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.

Last, but not least, an AFC divisional matchup on Monday Night Football has the Big Ben, Antonio Brown and the Pittsburgh Steelers looking to put things back in order when facing the rookie QB Zach Mettenberger and the Tennessee Titans.

The Denver Broncos offense averages 31.8 points per game which is second best in the NFL, only behind the Indianapolis Colts (32.8). They put up 41 points last week against the winless Raiders with Manning on the bench in the 4th quarter.

Manning leads the NFL with 29 touchdowns thrown in nine games, and will face a defense that is ranked 26th against the pass, allowing 212.8 passing yards per game, and 27.9 points per game every Sunday, 6th worst in the NFL.

Defensively, the Denver Broncos are allowing 22.4 points, 314.1 yards, and have forced 12 turnovers and 24 sacks.  On the flip side, the St. Louis Rams are allowing 27.9 points, 358.6 yards, and they’ve forced 11 turnovers and 17 sacks.

The total has gone OVER in 12 of St. Louis’s last 17 games at home, and in 16 of Denver’s last 23 games on the road.

This one has OVER written all over.

Matchup: New England Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts
Date: Sunday, Nov. 16
Start Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Stadium: Lucas Oil Stadium
TV Info: NBC
Live Stream:
Radio: Patriots Vs Colts
Point Spread: Colts -2.5
Moneyline: Patriots +130 vs Colts -150
Game Total: 57.5

This might be the highest scoring game ever. The NFL oddsmakers have the game total at 57.5, the highest of the week.

The New England Patriots have the third best scoring offense in the NFL, averaging 31.2 points per game, and when you talk about a team that’s red-hot, you talk about them. They are averaging 40.2 points in their last five games against Cincinnati, Buffalo, NY Jets, Chicago and Denver. QB Tom Brady has thrown 18 touchdowns and 1 INT in those five outings and has looked like his old self thanks to a healthy Gronk who is causing havoc on oppsoing defenses.

The Indianapolis Colts lead the league averaging 32.2 points per game, scoring 30 or more in five of their nine games and reaching 40+ points three times in the season. The problem is on defense. The NY Giants eratic offense scored 24 and the Pittsburgh Steelers put 50 in Indy’s last two games.

Defensively, the New England Patriots are allowing 22 points, 355.1 yards, and they’ve forced 18 turnovers and 22 sacks. On the flip side, the Indianapolis Colts are allowing 23.4 points, 361.7 yards, and they’ve forced 15 turnovers and 24 sacks.

The Patriots are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Colts are 18-5 ATS in their last 23 home games and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Patriots are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 meetings in Indianapolis, while the underdog is 13-5-2 ATS in their last 20 meetings.

I’m not afraid of the 57.5 points as I expect both teams to reach the 30 points. The total has gone OVER in 5 of New England’s last seven games when playing on the road against Indianapolis. Also there is no stopping Tom Brady this year, he will outscore Luck…so bet on the Pats and the plus money.

Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tennessee Titans
Date: Monday, Nov. 17
Start Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
Location: Nashville, TN
Stadium: LP Field
Live Stream:
Radio: Steelers Vs Titans
Point Spread: Steelers -5
Moneyline: Steelers -255 vs Titans +215
Game Total: 46.5

Before losing to the NY Jets last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers were averaging 41.3 points in their previous three games. They were stopped by Rex Ryan and his defense last weekend, but the Tennessee Titans don’t have the tools to stop QB Ben Roethlisberger after a loss.

Defensively, the Pittsburgh Steelers are allowing 23.9 points, 347 yards, and they’ve forced 13 turnovers and 20 sacks.

Tennessee’s rookie QB Zach Mettenberger only has two starts under his belt and Dick LeBeau’s blitzing D should have him guessing every snap.

Defensively, the Tennessee Titans are allowing 24.8 points, 368.7 yards, and they’ve forced 11 turnovers and 24 sacks.

The Steelers are 2-6-3 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 11 and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November. The Titans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Monday games and 7-18-2 ATS in their last 27 home games. The Steelers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 meetings in Tennessee, while the underdog is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings.

Keep in mind the total has gone OVER in 8 of Tennessee’s last 12 games when playing Pittsburgh.
