Let’s take a look at all six contests in an effort to help you make the most out of your Week 2 betting bucks.
Bet Week 2 NFL On Fox 1 PM Games
Dallas at Tennessee 1:00 PM ET
The Dallas Cowboys – and veteran quarterback Tony Romo – looked mostly incompetent in their 28-17 Week 1 home loss to Frisco while Tennessee got a solid performance from Jake Locker in their convincing 26-10 road win over Kansas City. Dallas is just 1-5 ATS in its last six games and seems to always be one Romo interception away from completely falling apart these days while Tennessee has gone 4-0-1 ATS in its last five games in the month of September.
Arizona at NY Giants 1:00 PM ET
Arizona used a fine effort from its defense to eke out a narrow 18-17 win over San Diego in Week 1 while Eli Manning and the Giants got pounded unmercifully in its convincing 35-14 Week 1 road loss to Detroit. Things aren’t looking real rosy for the G-Men either with Arizona going 4-0 ATS in its last four road games and New York going just 2-5 ATS in its last seven games against a team with a winning record.
New Orleans at Cleveland 1:00 PM ET
Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints may have lost a heartbreaker in falling to Atlanta 37-34 in overtime in their Week 1 opener, but so did the Cleveland Browns as they fell just short of completing a fantastic comeback in their narrow 30-27 road loss against Pittsburgh. The bad news for the Browns is the fact that they’re just 1-4 ATS in their L/5 home games, but they’ve got some hopeful news as well with the Saints going just 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games.
Detroit at Carolina 1:00 PM ET
The Lions rolled all over the New York Giants to win 35-14 and easily cover the NFL betting line. Carolina also looked solid in beating Tampa Bay 20-14 despite not having starting quarterback Cam Newton. The bad news for the Panthers is that Detroit has gone 4-1 ATS in its last five September games while Carolina has gone 2-5-1 ATS in its L/8 Week 2 games.
Bet Week 2 NFL On Fox 4 PM Games
St. Louis at Tampa Bay 4:05 PM ET
The Rams got beaten to a pulp in its stunning 34-6 Week 1 loss to Minnesota while Tampa Bay lost a thriller in falling to Carolina 20-14 in their regular season opener.
The Under is 6-0 in the Rams’ last six games and 5-2 in Tampa Bay’s last seven games overall.
Seattle at San Diego 4:05 PM ET
The Seahawks looked phenomenal in spanking Green Bay 36-16 in the 2014 NFL opener last Thursday while the Chargers lost a heartbreaker by losing to Arizona 18-17 in Week 1. While the Seahawks have also gone 4-0 ATS in their last four road games, they’ll take on a San Diego squad that has gone 6-1 ATS in its last seven games and 8-3 ATS in its L/11 games against a team with a winning record.
