The Broncos Bounce Back In This GameTheDuck
Starts: 10/27/2013 4:25PM
After a hard loss to his former team, Broncos QB Peyton Manning will come home to the mile high and take on the Redskins that will be without their leading Safety due to suspension. These two teams should really contrast themselves well as one defense will have to prepare for a running QB in RG3 that can really make plays off his feet better than anyone else while Washington´s objective will be to try and neutralize Manning’s unbelievably accurate passing ability, something that is much easier said than done. Denver has yet to lose at home, making this game that much more complicated for the Redskins as they try to keep their head above water.
Washington has really not gotten off to the best start mainly because team´s offensive coordinators have had a full off-season to study the ways of RG3 and what made him so successful in his rookie season. The Redskins need to change things up a bit and keep teams guessing, playing authentic running backs throughout the course of a game and have RG3 take a few of the running snaps could help but they need to get better in the receiving department, this team has the most dropped passes this season.
Denver is still top two in the league because of their offensive ability; QB Peyton Manning just showed everyone that he was human and cannot be perfect every game. With that said I know they will come into this game looking to get the game off to a fast start an the crowd into it, look for some clean routes and good passes to move the offense and some quick scores to break the ice. The offensive receivers on this team would be #1 guy’s on any other team so look for Payton to get his crew into rhythm early and not repeat what happened last weekend.
What to expect:
I really see Denver pushing out of the gate with a few good defensive stops as well as commanding offensive plays that get them on the score board first and up at least 10-0 on their first 3 drives. The Broncos are -13 in this one and I expect them to cover that spread as they do not expect to lose back to back this season against anyone, especially knowing that KC is coming up on their schedule.
