Why Bet The San Diego Chargers To Beat The Colts Odds
San Diego’s offense is outstanding. They average 32.5 points per game in the first two games of the season, second best in the NFL. But injuries are starting to take their toll. WR Keenan Allen and RB Danny Woodhead are both out for the season. 36 year old TE Antonio Gates hasn’t practiced this week with a suspect hamstring.
On the Chargers season, QB Phillip Rivers has tossed for 463 yards with five touchdowns, and WR Travis Benjamin has caught 13 of his 14 targets for 147 yards and the two touchdowns. Sophomore Rusher Melvin Gordon has put up 38 carries for 159 yards.
"It was huge. I’m glad it happened again right away," Rivers explained about winning the next game after losing to the Chiefs last season. "It was good for us mentally to get that put to bed that in the sense, `When we’re up 21, guys, we’re going to win,’ instead of that, `Oh, we’re hanging on.’ "
The Colts are in a mismatch. Indianapolis has allowed 36.5 points per games in the first two weeks. That’s the worst in the NFL.
Why Bet The Indianapolis Colts To Beat The Chargers Odds
Like the Chargers, Indianapolis is excellent on the offensive side. The Colts average 27.5 points per game and can match point-for-point with almost any team.
Through two games, Luck holds 582 yards with five touchdowns, while WR Phillip Dorsett leads Indianapolis in receiving yards with 124. Top wideout T.Y. Hilton has struggled after breaking out a couple season ago. Rusher Frank Gore has managed 103 yards on 27 carries, and hasn’t yet found the end zone.
The Colts are 21-9 ATS in their last 30 games following a straight up loss and 25-11-1 ATS in their last 37 home games.

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction
Indianapolis’ defense is in a world of trouble facing Rivers. San Diego has shown they want to air it out and will live with the consequences.
My final score prediction is San Diego 31, Indianapolis 34.
