Packers Vs Steelers Line & Expert Pick

Christmas Week NFL Parlay Picks

Finding teams for Christmas Week NFL action for my parlay picks is all a matter of jumping on the hot squads. No team is hotter than the Kansas City Chiefs, which is why they’re the first team in my parlay. Pittsburgh is another hot AFC squad that could be dangerous in the playoffs. The third hot team isn’t Carolina who probably should have lost to the Giants in Week 15. It’s Arizona who has quietly become second choice in the NFC to win the 2016 Super Bowl.

? Week NFL 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • Kansas City -12.5
  • Pittsburgh -10.5

What: Cleveland Browns (3-11) at Kansas City Chiefs (9-5)
When: Sunday, December 27, 2015
Kickoff: 1:00 PM ET
Where: Kansas City, MO
Stadium: Arrowhead Stadium
Spread: Chiefs -12.5
Game Total: 42.5
Watch: CBS
Stream: CBS Sports
Listen: Cleveland vs Kansas City

Analysis: Kansas City rides an 8 game winning streak into their battle versus Cleveland at home on Dec. 27. The Chiefs have gone 7 and 1 ATS during the streak. The defense has allowed opponents to score only twice in those 8 games while the offense has averaged close to 30 points a game.

Johnny Manziel could end up being a decent QB in the NFL. He has the smarts, if not the physical tools, and even though he continues to screw up off the field, he’s much more mature now than he was last season. But, Manziel is being thrown to the wolves here. Even against a team like San Francisco, the best that Johnny Football could do is struggle to a 92 QB rating. Manziel and the Browns are in for a long afternoon.

Pick: Kansas City

What: Pittsburgh Steelers (9-5) at Baltimore Ravens (4-10)
When: Sunday, December 27, 2015
Kickoff: 1:00 PM ET
Where: Baltimore, MD
Stadium: M&T Bank Stadium
Spread: Steelers -10.5
Moneyline: Pittsburgh -600 vs Baltimore +450
Game Total: 47.5
Watch: CBS
Stream: CBS Sports
Listen: Pittsburgh vs Baltimore

Analysis: The Steelers have now scored 30 points or more in 5 straight games. The reason that Pitt is favored by 10.5 in a road game against the rival Baltimore Ravens is because while Pittsburgh is averaging close to 403 yards of total offense per game and have scored over 30 in 5, Baltimore is averaging less than 360 yards and less than 21 points per matchup.

Moreover, Baltimore hasn’t scored more than 14 points in 3 straight games. Seattle QB Russell Wilson threw for 292 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 35 to 6 Seahawks road win two weeks ago. Big Ben has a shot to do at least that. Don’t be surprised if Pittsburgh gets close to 500 total yards of offense in this game.

Pick: Pittsburgh

? Week NFL 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • Kansas City -12.5
  • Pittsburgh -10.5
  • Arizona -4

What: Green Bay Packers (10-4) at Arizona Cardinals (12-5)
When: Sunday, December 27, 2015
Kickoff: 4:25 PM ET
Where: Glendale, AZ
Stadium: U of Phoenix Stadium
Spread: Cardinals -4.5
Moneyline: Green Bay +185 vs Arizona -225
Game Total: 49.5
Watch: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go
Listen: Green Bay vs Arizona

Analysis: Arizona free safety Tyrann “Honeybadger” Mathieu is out for the season with a torn ACL. Mathieu had 80 solo tackles on the season going into Week 16. That could affect Arizona’s defense in the playoffs. But, in order to beat the Cardinals straight up and against the spread, teams have to stop the Desert Birds’ number one ranked offense. Arizona averages 422.9 yards per game. Arizona scores close to 32 points on average per game. The Packers have played well in their last 3 games. Unfortunately, Arizona is one of the few teams in the league, Pittsburgh might be the other, where getting into a shootout with won’t help. And, that’s really the only way that Green Bay can keep this close.

Pick: Arizona
