Cincinnati vs Indianapolis NFL Week 7 Free PicksNoah Williams
Two potential division contenders in the AFC go head-to-head this Sunday as Andy Dalton, Giovani Bernard, and the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Lucas Oil Stadium for a week 7 game against Andrew Luck, Reggie Wayne, and the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts are favored by a mere field goal which they receive for just being the home team. Do the NFL oddsmakers really want us to believe that these two teams are that evenly matched?

This could be the worst possible time for the Bengals to visit Indianapolis as they have lost 2 in a row and their defense is an disarray.
Colts QB Andrew Luck is the leading passer in the NFL and is playing as well as anybody, even without a respected run game. Given the play of these teams over the last two weeks, this sets up as a bad match-up for the Bengals on the road.
Cincinnati was embarrassed by the New England Patriots two weeks ago and then let Cam Newton run all over their once stanch defense in a game against the Panthers that ended in an unexpected draw.
The Bengals have struggled without star wideout AJ Green, who’s battling turf toe; he’s not expected to be on the field at Indianapolis. Another blow to the Cincinnati offense will be the loss of WR Marvin Jones who was placed on season ending IR.
Without Green on the field, the offense loses its biggest playmaker and QB Andy Dalton looks like a bit lost. Against Carolina, the Bengals offense did record 513 total yards, but Dalton was picked off twice.
As to make a perfect storm, the loss of Green coincided with Bengals defense faltering. First they allowed the struggling Patriots score 43 points on Sunday Night Football two weeks ago and then last week the Panthers punched in 37.
The Bengals D allowed at total of 33 points in the first three weeks of the season but that number has jumped to a total of 80 over the last two games.
Now how will they bounce back against the highest scoring offense in the NFL? The Colts offense averages 31.5 points per game this season. QB Andrew Lucks leads the NFL’s best passing offense averaging 328.7 yards per game, and leads all quarterbacks with 17 TDs thrown.

Luck and the Colts have won four straight games, and enter this one with ten days to prepare after beating the Houston Texans 33-28 on Thursday Night Football. Andrew threw for 370 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT and Indy covered the spread as 3.5 favorites.
Luck and Dalton have only met once: in 2013, the Bengals won 42-28. Andrew Luck recorded 326 yards, 4 TDs & 0 INTs, but most of those came on garbage time as Cincinnati jumped to an early 21-0 lead. Dalton threw first 275 yards, 3 TDs and 0 INTs.
Bet on the Colts with the bank.
