Denver vs. Oakland NFL Betting OddsJosh Bailey
The AFC West basement dwelling Oakland Raiders (0-8, 4th in AFC West) will host the division leading Denver Broncos (6-2, 1st in AFC West) in an AFC West battle on Sunday in the O.co Coliseum. After a convincing loss at the hands of the Patriots on Sunday, the Broncos still have designs on representing the AFC in the Super Bowl again. On the other side of the ball, the lowly Raiders will be looking for their first W in 51 weeks.

The Broncos just had a four-game winning streak, both straight up and against the spread, broken by a devastating 43-21 loss at New England and a game against Oakland is just what the doctor ordered. The Raiders may have a solid pass defense (10th in passing yards allowed per game), but that won’t slow down Petyon Manning or his any of his receiving core. On the defensive side, Denver needs to pressure Raiders rookie quarterback with their talented stable of pass rushers that includes DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller.
Oakland interim head coach Tony Sparano is 0-4 since replacing the fired Dennis Allen, but the team has been more competitive during his tenure, but the Broncos represent one of its toughest challenges so far.

Over the last five meetings, as the Broncos have outscored Oakland 172-78 in those games and expect that trend to continue. With Peyton Manning as the team’s quarterback, the Broncos have only lost back-to-back games once—Week 2 and 3 of the 2012 season.
Denver is 5-1 in its last six games when playing on the road against Oakland. The Raiders are 4-8 ATS in its last 12 games. So I expect this game to be over in the first half. The Raiders are among the NFL’s worst teams and the Broncos are among the league’s best. If this game were being played at Mile High, the NFL betting odds would favor the Broncos by two touchdowns and a field goal.
