Expert Picks NFL Week 2

A tie game is like taking your cousin to prom. That’s how weird the first week of NFL betting action was. All everyone is talking about is the three-hour dance between Pittsburgh and Cleveland that ended in a 21-21 tie after two botched OT field-goals. If you are like Steelers and Browns and are in need of better luck then use my NFL Week 2 expert picks to cash in big.

Expert Picks NFL Week 2

L.A. Chargers at Buffalo
When: Sunday, Sep. 16 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: New Era Field, Buffalo
TV: CBS
Odds: Chargers -8½

Analysis: Buffalo might be the worst team in the NFL. It’s early, but Buffalo’s offense is horrendous. It only scored 3 points in the 3 to 47 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Buffalo won’t turn things around in 7 days. They battle one of the better teams in the AFC in the L.A. Chargers. The Bolts had trouble versus Kansas City in Week 1. Playing Buffalo in Week 2 should definitely right the ship.

No way the Bills defense holds the Chargers to less than 30 points. Because Buffalo’s offense can’t score, Los Angeles easily wins and covers on Sunday.

Pick: L.A. Chargers

Indianapolis at Washington
When: Sunday, Sep. 16 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
TV: CBS
Odds: Washington -5½

Analysis: It’s the same old story for the Indianapolis Colts. Andrew Luck or no Andrew Luck, Indianapolis is a bad football team. Granted, the offense is much better with Luck than it is without Luck.

But, Luck can’t do it all on his own. He never could. Now that the Colts decided to go as young as possible on defense, no matter how well Luck plays, the defense can’t stop anybody. It yielded 34 points to Cincinnati in Week 1.

The defense won’t stop Washington’s excellent offense. Washington rolls.

Pick: Washington

Arizona at L.A. Rams
When: Sunday, Sep. 16 at 4:05 pm ET
Where: LA. Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
TV: ABC
Odds: Rams -12½

Analysis: Arizona should have a difficult time keeping the Rams from scoring close to 30 on Sunday. The Cardinals play a new defense this season from last season. So far, Arizona’s had trouble getting the D to gel.

Los Angeles’ offense is one of the top units in the NFL. The Rams ranked first in points scored per game last season. They should rank in the Top 3 in points scored per game this season. L.A. should whip Arizona on Sep. 16.

Pick: L.A. Rams
