This game presents some interesting aspects, the Vikings have lost their last four games after opening the season in the win column, after losing their starting QB to injury they have decided to start rookie Teddy Bridgewater who has not looked too bad. The Bills won their first two games to then lose the next two and then go 50/50 on the last two to this point. Starting QB EJ Manuel was benched and they are still in search for their game changing guy.
Minnesota Vikings vs. Buffalo Bills
1:00 PM ET, October 19, 2014
Ralph Wilson Stadium, Buffalo, NY
Minnesota has one of the worst offenses in the League but the good news is that Buffalo is right there along with them. After the Vikings lost Peterson they knew their offense was going to transition, they lost on average 10 points a game, so they need to find someone or some ones to step up and make the difference. Bridgewater lacks confidence in my opinion but on the other hand he is a rookie so we must give him time to prove himself.
Buffalo has gone through a lot this offseason with the change in owners as well as the draft this team also needs time to figure things out, only in their case it’s themselves. Youth is a blessing in the NFL but also a curse because of the growing pains they will have to go through. The big focus point on this team is their running back C.J. Spiller as well as rookie receiver Sammy Watkins, both of these players are game changers but they need a solid QB in order to evolve in this game.
The books have the Bills favored in this game by 6 points, they seem to think that this team will find themselves or make a big change, something tells me that the Vikings are the ones that will get the upper hand in this game because of their ability to stay calm and make fewer errors late in the game. At +6 you will worst case scenario push from what I can see in this one.
