How To Bet The Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns 7-Point Spread

The Cincinnati Bengals are on the road to face in-state and AFC North rival Cleveland Browns. The game kicks-off on FOX this Sunday, December 6 at 1 PM Eastern Time from the FirstEnergy Stadium.

The two sides met in a Week 9 Thursday Night Football tilt in which  the Bengals posted a convincing 31-10 victory. Andy Dalton threw for three touchdowns, and the team rushed for 152 yards in the simplistic affair.

After that game, both squads went on a two game losing streak. The Bengals did pull out a win last week while the Browns had  a bye week sandwiched between losses.

If You Are Betting On The Cincinnati Bengals Spread At -7

The Cincinnati Bengals are 9-2 straight up and 9-1-1 against the spread this season. They average 27.0 points (4th), 260.2 passing yards (12th) and 116.0 rushing yards (9th) per game. Last week, they beat the St. Louis Rams by a 37-6 score. The win halted their brief skid with an effort reminiscent of its perfect first half of the season.

QB Andy Dalton (2971 yards, 23 TDs & 6 INTs) threw three touchdown passes, two of them to  A.J. Green (65 rec, 909 yards, 6 TDs). Dalton was 20 of 27 for 233 yards. His touchdown passes to Green were of 9 and 18 yards. Green hadn’t caught two TDs in a game since the third week of the season in Baltimore. TE Tyler Eifert also had a 22-yarder, giving him the league lead with 12 TD catches.

“I felt like we played well in all phases of the game,” Dalton said. “It’s good to get a win, and it’s good to get a win the way we did.”

RB Giovani Bernard (115 att, 581 yards, 2 TDs) averages a team’s high 5.1 yards per carry this season. RB Jeremy Hill (140 att, 490 yards, 7 TDs) ran for a season-high 86 yards last week. He limped off the field in the fourth quarter and got his left ankle taped. He leads the team in rush attempts and touchdowns.

Cincinnati’s defense allows 17.5 points (1st), 244.0 passing yards (17th) and 99.8 rushing yards (13th) per game. Vincent Rey has 83 tackles, Carlos Dunlap has 8.5 sacks, and Dre Kirkpatrick has 11 passes deflected.

If You Are Betting On The Cleveland Browns Spread At +7

The Cleveland Browns are 2-9 straight up and 3-7-1 against the spread this season. They average 19.4 points (28th), 261.5 passing yards (11th), and 74.5 rushing yards per game. The Browns are riding a crushing six game losing streak, capped by a last-second, heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night.

For the third consecutive season, the Browns will start three different quarterbacks as Austin Davis (77 yards, 1 TD & 0 INT) has been named Sunday’s starter. He produced mixed results for St. Louis a season ago.

Veteran Josh McCown (2109 yards, 12 TDs & 4 INTs) began the season as the starter, but will miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone. Johnny Manziel (933 yards, 5 TDs & 2 INTs) will be the backup after lying to the team about his extra-curricular activites went viral on social media.

Manziel lost his starting job after again being caught in an alcohol-fueled incident months after a stint in rehab, then decided to try and lie about the timing of his latest misstep that was captured on video during Cleveland’s bye week.

The team’s top wide-receiver, Travis Benjamin (54 rec, 826 yards, 5 TDs) scored last week after being skunked since week three. Eight-year breakout TE Gary Barnidge (55 rec, 758 yards, 7 TDs) has the third most touchdowns receptions amongst all tight ends this season.

The Browns rush game has been almost as embarrassing as their QB hoop-la. RB Isaiah Crowell (114 att, 335 yards, 1 TDs) has one of the two Browns running touchdowns this season. The other one belongs to McCown.

Cleveland’s defense allows 28.2 points (31st), 265.0 passing yards (25th), and 135.6 rushing yards (31st) per game. Karlos Dansby has 83 tackles and three interceptions, and Armonty Bryant has 3.5 sacks.
