After struggling early in the season, the Philadelphia Eagles could take over lead of the NFC East with a couple of wins and a bit of luck. The first step? To beat the “nothing to lose” Miami Dolphins, who are last in the AFC East.
Kick off is scheduled for 1:00 PM ET this Sunday, November 15th on CBS. The NFL week 10 odds favor the visiting Eagles by 7-points to beat the Dolphins.

If You Are Betting On The Miami Dolphins Odds At -7
The Miami Dolphins are 3-5 straight up and against the spread this season. They are averaging 21.4 points (21st), 254.6 passing yards (13th), and 103.3 rushing yards (19th) per game this season. Last week, they lost their second game in a row. The final score was Buffalo 33, Miami 17. Miami also dropped to 0-4 against division rivals.
QB Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 2237 yards, 13 touchdowns, and nine interceptions while completing 64.2% of his passes this season. He has an 88.7 passer rating this season. Last week, Tannehill finished 27 of 36 for 309 yards with two lost fumbles.
“At the end of the day we have to find a way to win games,” quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. “Whether it’s the offense scoring points, the defense making a big stop or complementing each other. It’s a team sport and we have to feed of each other and find a way to come out with a win.”
WR Rishard Matthews (37 rec, 554 yards, 4 TDs) wasn’t in the Dolphins plans coming into the season. He wasn’t even supposed to compete for playing time. Then, the fourth-year wide receiver asked to be traded or released in May. Eight games into the season he is leading the team in all receiving categories other than receptions, where he’s second to Landry. He ranks ninth in the league in average yards per reception (15.0) with a minimum of 30 catches.
The team’s number one WR Jarvis Landry (53 rec, 535 yards, 2 TDs) is on pace for 106 catches, which would be a new career high.
RB Lamar Miller (91 att, 478 yards, 5 TDs) has averaged 5.3 yards per carry. Miller ran for a measly 44 yards on 12 carries against the Bills week. He pitched in two TDs.
Miami’s defense allows 25.8 points (23rd), 242.0 passing yards (13th) and 142.0 rushing yards (31st) per game. Reshad Jones has 74 tackles, Ndamukong Suh has three sacks and Brent Grimes has nine passes deflected.
If You Are Betting On The Philadelphia Eagles Odds At -7
The Philadelphia Eagles are 4-4 straight up and against the spread this season. They average 24.1 points (13th), 244.8 passing yards (18th), 121.6 rushing yards (10th) per game. Last week they beat rival Dallas bu a 33-27 score in OT.
QB Sam Bradford has thrown 2061 yards, ten touchdowns, and ten interceptions while completing 62.9% of his passes. He has posted a 79.5 passer rating so far this season. Last week he was 25 of 36 for 295 yards, with the one touchdown to WR Jordan Matthews. He has caught 48 balls for 531 yards and 2 TDs this season.
“We’re getting that swagger going,” Matthews told the team’s official website. “We’re going to go out there, practice hard all week and try to put a good product out on the field against the Dolphins.”
After a slow start, DeMarco Murray (106 att, 390 yards, 4 TDs) and Ryan Mathews (67 att, 409 yards, 4 TDs) have made for a potent combo in the backfield. They combined for 620 rushing yards and six touchdowns in the last four games, much better production than the 179 yards and two scores they totaled through Weeks 1-4 — including Murray’s absence in the third game.
Murray faced Miami once with Dallas in 2011, rushing for 87 yards on 22 carries. Mathews combined for 208 yards on 35 rushes in two matchups while with San Diego in 2011 and 2013.
Philadelphia’s defense allows 20.5 points (10th), 254.0 passing yards (20th) and 112.9 rushing yards (21st) per game. Malcolm Jenkins has 52 tackles, Brandon Graham has four sacks, and Nolan Carroll II has three passes deflected.
