The Giants find the Colts in a vulnurable position after the Steelers handed Indianapolis its first loss since Week 2, by a burtal score of 51-24.
"It’s bad football," coach Chuck Pagano said. "It’s not intentional, but it’s bad football and you’re not going to win games playing like that."
But can the Giants beat the Colts without a viable running game? Andre Williams has been underwhelming since taking over for the injured Rashad Jennings who is a week away from returning. The Giants only option will be to throw the ball to a depleted WR core that is without Victor Cruz. Eli will lean heavily on Rueben Randle and Odell Beckham, Jr. This could be a good match-up for the two young wide receivers with the injury to Vontae Davins, the Colts’ only viable cornerback. Add the emergence of TE Larry Donnell and the Giants offense may not need a run game.

Indianapolis may get a boost with safety LaRon Landry’s return from a four-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs. Landry, though, was a no-show Monday — the first day he could return to the team’s facilities — and the Colts have until 4 p.m. on game day to activate him.
Over his short career, Luck has shown the uncanny ability to lead the Colts in epic second half comebacks, but as their loss to the Steelers at Heinz Field proved that relying on late game heroics won’t win you the big game. If Indy avoids getting in the hole early, they might take this opportunity to reassert themselves as one of the powers in the AFC.
Indianapolis Colts vs New York Giants MNF Betting Prediction
The majority of the analysts at ESPN and Fox Sports are backing the Colts in this one and that would be the smart bet against the widely unpredictable Giants who are coming off of a bye week with pleanty of time to prepare.
The Colts are playing consecutive road games, and were awful last week in losing to the Steelers. Their defense was exposed by Big Ben’s 522 passing yards and 6 passing TDs. With The Giants using a similar offensive scheme as Pittsburg, expect Eli Manning to take the short pass and not the sack. Eli Manning comes up big.
Final Score: Colts 24, Giants 28
