Kansas City Chiefs Vs. Buffalo Bills

Kansas City has not beaten the Bills in 5 seasons

Although this game could be seen as one sided, in all fairness to the struggling Bills, they have won 5 of the last 6 games against Kansas City, something the Chiefs expect to change this weekend. With the top ranked defense and a running back who is having an MVP like season, the Chiefs are the only undefeated team remaining in the League. Buffalo has yet again seen its security blanked pulled out from under them with the injury to their rookie QB as well as starting running back, things just don’t seem to get any easier as the time passes.

Kansas City is the dream team this year, after ending last season with a League worst 2 and 15 record they have managed to pull off an 8-0 as of right now with all kinds of players stepping up to shine. Their game plan coming into this one will be to play calmly and at their pace, they will look to run the ball on offense seeing how the Bills have the second worse run defense. I expect their defensive line to really hound the Bills QB, getting in his face and hurrying him up, they will not let him go and this might get ugly if Buffalo cannot slow them down.

The Bills are coming off a loss to the Saints where they were just picked pocketed on defense, QB Drew Brees throw the ball for 400+ yards making their secondary look like chickens running around with their heads cut off. I expect the Bills to lean more on the man to man approach in this one as well as a stacked line to close the middle for the run, but in the end they are going to have to score and that’s is where things get difficult.

What to Expect:

The Chiefs come into this game favored by only a field goal because of their recent history with the Bills but in all honesty the past ends this weekend, Kansas City knows they have to step up and knock this one out of the park and so they will. The Bills will keep in close with decent defense along with a few scores but the Chiefs will tier them out in the second half and expect QB Alex Smith to show us some of his running skills if the Bills back off him too much. The Chiefs win this game by 8+ points, take them and watch them hit 9-0.
