Will Reeling Broncos Show Up Against Brady and Patriots in Week 10 AFC Matchup?
The Denver Broncos are in trouble NFL betting enthusiasts! There’s just no other way to say it. Denver has problems at quarterback and now, they’ve apparently forgotten how to play defense as well.
However, while team president John Elway has big question marks on both sides of the ball, the only question you need answering is whether or not the Broncos are going to even show up with a decent effort when they host Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots in their Week 10 AFC matchup on Sunday.
Let’s find out now what’s going to go down when the Broncos host the Pats on Sunday at 4:05 PM ET with this matchup airing live on NBC.
Odds & Expert Pick New England Patriots Vs Denver Broncos
New England (6-2) at Denver (3-5)

Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
Stream: NBC Sports Live
NFL Odds: New England -7.5
The Patriots have won four straight and look like they’re about ready to kick it into overdrive heading into the second half of the season. New England is well-rested after getting a bye last weekend following their hard-fought 21-13 home win over the Chargers in Week 8. The Pats are still potent on offense as they average a healthy 27.0 points per game to rank seventh in scoring. Future Hall of fame quarterback Tom Brady is in the midst of another stellar season, completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 2,541 yards with 16 touchdowns and just two interceptions. However, New England has been surprisingly mediocre defensively in allowing 22.4 points per game to rank 17th in points allowed.
The Broncos have lost four straight and got completely embarrassed in their humbling 51-23 blowout at the hands of red-hot Philadelphia last weekend. Denver is set to go with veteran Brock Osweiler again in this contest even though he completed just half of his 38 passes and tossed two picks last weekend. Prior to putting 23 points on the board last weekend, Denver was held to 19 points or less in each of their previous five games.
Unless the Broncos get back to playing outstanding defense and I’m not sure they’re going to, they have absolutely no chance of beating New England in this contest or covering the spread. Tom Brady and the Patriots are a scorching 10-2 ATS in their last 12 road games and 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games overall while Denver has gone 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games in November and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The spread may look a bit daunting, but I’ve seen nothing out of the Broncos that makes me believe they’re going to show up in this contest. 69% of public bettors like the Patriots to cover the spread and right now, I say that’s easily the right call!
Pick: New England -7.5
