Tennessee Titans vs. Seattle Seahawks
4:05 PM ET, October 13, 2013
Century Link Field, Seattle, WA
Playing Seattle at home is already one of the hardest things to do, beating them is an entire different story; Seattle has the loudest fan base in the league while the rainiest weather, which makes playing football difficult for certain teams. After losing their first game of the season the Seahawks will be looking to get back on track with a powerful defensive showing against the Titans, Tennessee has a decent run game but a flawed quarterback that is not confident in his passing game, Seattle has proven they can stop all types of running attacks so it will be interesting to see the game plan for the Titans.
Tennessee is still going with QB Jake Locker who has been less than good in these first five games, the team has come up with three good wins but many have been based on luck plays that happen to workout. Running back Chris Johnson has yet again come under the radar with 94 carries for 294 yards and no rushing touchdowns this season, he needs to get back in his 2008 form and make the right adjustments to help his team.
Seattle simply didn’t have a good game, they seemed slow and off beat but I doubt we will see them like that again, they are dealing with some important injuries that make it hard for QB Russell Wilson to move to his right but he still has taken advantage of his feet as well as his arm. The Seahawks need more out of their pro bowl running back Marshawn Lynch who is their offensive back bone but this season has carried the ball 96 times for 410 yards and 3 scores.
What to Expect:
Seattle is -14 in this game at home against the Titans, if this game were anywhere else I would not lay that spread but in Seattle, it’s a done deal, their defense and mobile offense will over work the Titans defense and over work them by keeping them on the field and controlling the clock. My opinion in this game is Seattle all the way, they have to bounce back from their last week lost and this is the perfect game to do just that.
