Odds On Your Team Making The Playoffs

Odds On Your Team Making The Playoffs

32 NFL teams are on the hunt for 12 playoff spots. Eleven because you can already count the Pats to lead the AFC. Let’s find out the remaining 31 teams’ odds to make the 2017 NFL playoffs.

Odds On Your Team Making The Playoffs:

AFC East Playoff Odds

Odds On the New England Patriots Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -2500
  • No +1100

Unless Brady, Gronk, Cooks, Edelman & Garoppolo ALL go down with season-ending injuries, the Patriots will go to the Super Bowl. There is even talk about this Pats team going 19-0.

Odds On the Miami Dolphins Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +350
  • No -450

The Dolphins are stacked at the skill positions. If Jay Cutler has to start, this team is doomed.

Odds On the Buffalo Bills Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +550
  • No -800

The Bills own the longest active playoffs drought in the NFL. They haven’t reached the playoffs since 1999. I don’t see that changing this year.

Odds On the NY Jets Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +2000
  • No -10000

I’m not even sure they can beat Alabama on a neutral field.

AFC North Playoff Odds

Odds On the Pittsburgh Steelers Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -360
  • No +280

The sooner the Steelers sign Le’Veon Bell, the deeper they will go in the playoffs.

Odds On the Baltimore Ravens Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +115
  • No -135

The Ravens have a big question mark at QB. There is no firm timetable for Flacco to return and Ryan Mallet isn’t an option at starter.

Odds On the Cincinnati Bengals Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +140
  • No -160

The Bengals will be back in the playoffs. A healthy AJ Green and the addition of two of the most explosive college football players in RB Joe Mixon and WR John Ross make the Bengals the team to beat in the AFC North.

Odds On the Cleveland Browns Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +2000
  • No -10000

The only team that will give the Browns a run for the basement in the league are the Jets.

AFC South Playoff Odds

Odds On the Indianapolis Colts Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +200
  • No -250

Outside of Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton, the Colts are lacking in the talent in skill positions. On top of which, Luck isn’t even healthy.

Odds On the Tennessee Titans Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +110
  • No -130

This team is oozing with talent and loaded with smarts on the sideline. Is this the year the Titans make a playoff push? The oddsmakers are split.

Odds On the Houston Texans Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +145
  • No -170

J.J. Watt is back. Now if they can only get their QB issues sorted and this is the team to beat in the AFC South.

Odds On the Jacksonville Jaguars Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +350
  • No -450

This will be Blake Bortles last season as starter. The Jags have too much talent on both sides of the ball to waste on Bortles poor decision making.

AFC West Playoff Odds

Odds On the Oakland Raiders Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -135
  • No +115

The playoffs? Most are predicting that the Raiders will face the Pats for the AFC Championship. Just look at the names on offense: Derek Carr, Marshawn Lynch, Michael Crabtree, Amari Cooper and Jared Cook. Don’t forget about Khalil Mack.

Odds On the Kansa City Chiefs Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -130
  • No +110

I think this is the last year we see Alex Smith as a starter in Kansas City. The former number one pick is on the hot seat with newly drafted QB Patrick Mahomes in the wings.

Odds On the Denver Broncos Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +210
  • No -260

The QB battle between Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian is not inspiring any confidence in the Broncos offense. Von Miller and co will hold up their end of the bargin, but with a talented AFC West I don’t see the playoffs in Denver’s future.

Odds On the Los Angeles Chargers Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +220
  • No -270

This team has the talent to win a lot of games. Phillip Rivers gets better and better. Joey Bosa will anchor the defense. Melvin Gordon has proven he can be a 16 game every down back.

NFC East Playoff Odds

Odds On the Dallas Cowboys Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -200
  • No +175

The Cowboys are America’s team, but they will disappoint this season. Dak, Zeke & Dez will put up the yards and points. Thier problem is on the otherside of the ball. Dallas lost all four starters in their secondary making their defense is average at best.

Odds On the NY Giants Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +120
  • No -140

The Giants took the offseason to catch up to the Cowboys. The Giants added WR Brandon Marshall to line up across from hot-head Odell Beckham Jr giving Eli the top pass catching duo in the NFC East.

Odds On the Philadelphia Eagles Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +160
  • No -190

The Eagles will make a huge leap with the addition of WR Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. But can Carson Wentz take a step forward in his second season to take Phily to the promised land?

Odds On Washington Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +300
  • No -400

You don’t lose WRs DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon and don’t regress on offense. The Cousins/front office soap opera doesn’t help.

NFC North Playoff Odds

Odds On the Green Bay Packers Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -330
  • No +260

When you have a QB like Aaron Rodgers, you don’t miss the playoffs. It’s Super Bowl or nothing for the Packers.

Odds On the Minnesota Vikings Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +150
  • No -180

I like the Vikings defense. I hate the Vikings offense.

Odds On the Detroit Lions Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +280
  • No -360

The Lions offense is exciting with Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate, and Marvin Jones. Their defense won’t keep up. .500 teams don’t make the playoffs.

Odds On the Chicago Bears Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +1000
  • No -2000

Would you bet on Mike Glennon to lead a team to the playoffs? Neither would I.

NFC South Playoff Odds

Odds On the Atlanta Falcons Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -150
  • No +130

The NFC South is a talented division and the Falcons are the tops. Matty Ice, Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman and Vic Beasley will learn from their mistakes in Super Bowl 51.

Odds On the Carolina Panthers Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -110
  • No -110

Cam Newton is in camp slimmer and lighter. Riverboat Ron will try to get him to pass more. The addition of dynamic rusher Christian McCaffrey will give this team a new dimension. I am expecting big things.

Odds On the New Orleans Saints Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +230
  • No -280

The Saints are the X-Factor in the league this season. While Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson are past their primes, the combination should scare opposing defenses.

Odds On the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +210
  • No -260

The Bucs went under the radar last season, winning nine games. They added WR DeSean Jackson and TE OJ Howard to what should be a loaded offense in 2017. Let me be the first to say the Bucs are making the playoffs.

NFC West Playoff Odds

Odds On the Seattle Seahawks Making The Playoffs

  • Yes -500
  • No +375

The Seahawks Super Bowl window might be closing, but they are still talented enough to win its division. The addition of rusher Eddie Lacy will make this season exciting for the 12th man.

Odds On the Arizona Cardinals Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +170
  • No -200

This is Larry Fitzgerald’s last chance at a Super Bowl. Carson Palmer is teetering on the end of his career as well. Can big dogs David Johnson and Tyrann Mathieu get them there?

Odds On Los Angeles Rams Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +900
  • No -1600

Last season’s top draft pick QB Jared Goff had a forgetable inagural campaign as did the rest of the Rams. Where do they go this season? It’s anybody’s guess at this point.

Odds On San Francisco 49ets Making The Playoffs

  • Yes +1400
  • No -4000

The 49ers made some noise at the NFL draft, but this team is a few seasons away from being a playoff team.
