Bears Look to Nab Week 10 Win Over Packers as Green Bay Deals With Life Without Rodgers!
After having their modest two-game winning streak snapped two weeks ago, the Chicago Bears will look to nail down a big win against the Green Bay Packers in their Week 10 matchup against their longtime NFC North division rivals. Las Vegas NFL oddsmakers have listed the Trubisky-led Bears as 5.5-point favorites over the short-handed Packers.
Now, let’s find out if Chicago can not only get the SU win but cover the spread in this divisional matchup as the Packers continue to deal with life without superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Chicago will host Green Bay on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET live from Soldier Field with this matchup airing on FOX.

Why Bet The Green Bay Packers Over The Bears
The Packers lost their third straight game and second that backup Brett Hundley has started by falling to Detroit 30-17 on Monday while failing to cover the NFL betting odds as a 2.5-point home underdog just as advertised. The Packers have scored an identical 17 points in each of the last two weeks, after putting up just 10 points against Minnesota three weeks ago in the game that saw Rodgers go down with a broken collarbone.
Why Bet The Chicago Bears Over The Packers
Chicago is well-rested coming into this matchup following their bye last weekend. The Bears put up a really good effort in Week 8 against New Orleans but ended up falling to the red-hot Saints 20-12 while narrowly failing to cover the chalk as a 7.5-point road dog. Still, Chicago is getting some encouraging play out of rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky. The No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft has thrown two TD passes and two interceptions in four games this season and although he’s completing just 47.5 percent of his passes, the Bears have played a lot better with him as the starter than they did under veteran Mike Glennon.
Packers Vs Bears Betting Tips
While Trubisky’s numbers don’t look very good, the fact of the matter is that the rookie is by far, outplaying Green Bay counterpart Brett Hundley this season while giving Chicago plenty of hope for the future. Hundley, on the other hand, has looked really awful despite completing a respectable 58.8 percent of his passes. The former UCLA star has thrown one touchdown pass and four interceptions in two-plus starts since taking over for Rodgers and now the Packers are scrambling to salvage what suddenly looks like a lost season.
I said the same thing about Detroit last week that I’ll say about Chicago coming into this contest. The Bears should be thanking their lucky stars that Aaron Rodgers is out of the lineup for the Packers. The Bears have compiled a surprisingly impressive 5-1 ATS mark in their last six games following an ATS loss while also going 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight-up loss.
The Packers are just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and will continue to suffer as they deal with life without Aaron Rodgers. There’s a reason why 57 percent of public bettors like the Bears in this one and it’s because Brett Hundley is awful and Green Bay clearly is not nearly as good as they are with their superstar signal-caller under center. Simply put, Chicago wins and covers the spread at home!
Betting Tip: Take Chicago -5.5
