Every year at around this time, the wonderful people at EA Sports run a Super Bowl simulation on their international best selling Madden NFL video game to predict a Super Bowl winner.

No one knows who plays the games. Are the computer simulations? Staff members? Video game experts? Top Madden tournament players? But they are surprisingly accurate and have predicted 8 of the last 11 Super Bowl winners, losing last year’s Seahawks-Broncos tilt.

Who will win the 2015 Super Bowl According to EA Sports’ Madden Simulation?

This year’s matchup pits the defensive minded, reigning champ Seattle Seahawks against the most hated team in sports, the New England Patriots and according to EA Sports Madden NFL simulation the Seahawks will not repeat as Super Bowl champions.

EA Sports’ sea-saw Super Bowl 49 battle has a strong defensive showing by Seattle sandwiched with a couple of big passing TD’s by Tom Brady, the last of which seals a narrow New England victory.

EA Sports’s Super Bowl 49 Final Score Prediction: Patriots 28 – Seahawks 24
