Over/Under Betting Analysis NFL Wild Card Weekend

AFC Wildcard
Indianapolis Colts +105 at Houston Texans -125
When: Saturday, Jan. 5 at 4:35 pm ET
Where: NRG Stadium, Houston, TX

Over/Under Betting Analysis: The Indianapolis Colts easily handled the Tennessee Titans without Marcus Mariota in the final NFL Regular Season game of the year in Week 17. Now, the Colts head to Houston to battle the Texans.

Indianapolis last battled the Texans on Dec. 9. Behind Andrew Luck’s 399 passing yards and 2 TD throws, the Colts upset the Texans 24-21 as a +4 road dog. Luck and the Colts should pull off the upset again at NRG Stadium on Saturday.

Houston’s a good team, but Indianapolis has won 7-of-8. The wins include twice beating the Tennessee Titans, the victory over the Texans, and shutting out NFC East Division champion Dallas.

Colts take this on the moneyline.

NFC Wildcard
Seattle Seahawks +103 at Dallas Cowboys -123
When: Saturday, Jan. 5 at 8:15 pm ET
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

Over/Under Betting Analysis: During their run to the NFC East Division, the Dallas Cowboys leaned on a great rushing attack and fantastic defense. Although the Cowboys played well to get to the playoffs, they face an uphill climb to beat the Seahawks this weekend.

Seattle matches up well with the Dallas Cowboys. Quarterback Russell Wilson will find holes in the Cowboys’ defense. Not only that but Russell’s favorite target, Doug Baldwin, is healthy.

Earlier in the season, Seattle beat the Cowboys 24-13. With the best rushing attack in the NFL, and the more experienced playoff coach and quarterback, the Seahawks could pull off a second straight win over the home team Cowboys.

NFC Wildcard
Philadelphia Eagles +200 at Chicago Bears -240
When: Sunday, Jan. 6 at 4:40 pm ET
Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL

Over/Under Betting Analysis: Chicago’s played about as well as any team in the NFL in the last 10 games. The Bears have done mostly everything right on both offense and defense. Coach Matt Nagy has been on point with his play-calling.

But even though the Bears have been on a roll, the Eagles have shown signs of finally putting everything together. Once Nick Foles stepped into the starting role under center, Philadelphia flourished. First came the unreal 30-23 win over the L.A. Rams.

Then in Week 16, Philly beat the AFC Playoffs 3-seed, the Houston Texans, 32-30. Week 17 might have been Philadelphia’s most complete performance this season. Knowing they had to beat rival Washington to have any shot at the postseason, the Eagles dominated with a 24-0 road win.

Chicago’s young. They’re inexperienced. Philadelphia won Super Bowl 52. They’ll use that experience, along with some Foles magic, to knock the NFC’s 3-seed out of the playoffs early.
