Over Under Betting Analysis NFL Week 12

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers
When: Sunday, Nov. 25 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go
Total Points: 47

Analysis: The total feels high. After all, only a couple of seasons ago both the Seahawks and Panthers had two of the best defenses in the NFL. Although the total seems high, Seattle has played in 2 straight over games, a 31-36 loss to the Rams and a 27-24 win over the Green Bay Packers.

The over’s gone 3-1 in Carolina’s last 4 games. The Panthers gave up 52 points to Pittsburgh in Week 10. In Week 9, Carolina beat Tamp Bay 42-28. The 19-20 loss to Detroit in Week 11 might be because Carolina played on the road.

At home, Carolina’s offense should be brewing while Russell Wilson will make sure Seattle stays in the game.

Pick: Over

Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts
When: Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
TV: CBS
Stream: CBS Sports
Total Points: 51

Analysis: It most likely won’t matter who plays quarterback for the Dolphins because both Brock Osweiler or Ryan Tannehill figures to have success moving the ball versus the Colts.

Indianapolis most definitely will have success moving the ball versus the Dolphins. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been unreal in Indy’s last 4 games throwing for 13 touchdowns and only a single pick.

Luck and the Colts should put at least 35 points on the board. They might score 42. Osweiler or Tannehill is good for 24 to 30. This should go over by a mile.

Pick: Over

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings
When: Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8:20 pm ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
TV: NBC
Stream: NBC Sports Live
Total Points: 47½

Analysis: Green Bay and Minnesota played to a 29-29 tie in Week 2 when everyone thought both teams might challenge for home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Neither team could make the playoffs this season, though, which makes this game ultra-important.

In huge matchups like Sunday night’s, offensive coordinators loathe doing anything risky. Neither one of these squads averages a ton of points, anyhow. We’re playing with fire because oddsmakers haven’t yet set a total.

Still, this should be one of those 23-20 matchups.

Pick: Under
