Over/Under Picks NFL Week 14

Over/Under Picks NFL Week 14

If you can’t find a side to bet on this week, use my over/under picks for NFL Week 14 action to cash in. Let’s get started.

Over/Under Picks NFL Week 14

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
When: Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: New Era Field, Buffalo, NY
TV: CBS
Stream: CBS Sports
Total Points: 38½

Analysis: One of the reasons oddsmakers haven’t yet set a total’s because we don’t know which Jets quarterback ends up under center, rookie Sam Darnold or veteran Josh McCown. The Jets will score more with McCown.

But, even if the Jets will score more with McCown, they won’t score enough. In the last battle between these rivals, Buffalo dominated the New York Jets 41-10. The score shouldn’t be close to that on Sunday.

Jets’ coach Todd Bowles will come up with a much better game plan on defense while the Bills will continue to play excellent when their defense hits the field. This should go under no matter what the total ends up.

Pick: Under

Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers
When: Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go
Total Points: 48½

Analysis: Literally two hours after losing to lowly Arizona, Green Bay fired coach Mike McCarthy. McCarthy’s play selection had been horrible. Not only that, but he had lost control.

With McCarthy now gone, will the Packers manage to score points at home versus suddenly stagnant Atlanta? Maybe. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers figures to put the peddle to the mettle and McCarthy won’t be there to stop Aaron from doing so.

Atlanta had no chance of moving the ball against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13. The Falcons will have a much better time at Lambeau. They’ll also score some points.

Pick: Over

Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals
When: Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ
TV: FOX
Stream: Fox Sports Go
Total Points: 40½

Analysis: If you know anything about the Lions and Cardinals, it’s obvious why. Arizona’s defense isn’t great, but the Cardinals face a rather vanilla Detroit offense. Not only that, there’s a chance Matt Patricia puts together a game plan that holds the Cardinals to 6 to 10 points. Detroit doesn’t play a style that puts up 30 points. Lions figure to win 24-10, which puts this one under by 6.5.

Pick: Under
