NFL Week 3 Parlay Picks

NFL Parlay Picks Preseason Week 3

Week 3 in the NFL Preseason could be a harbinger of things to come. Will Detroit bounce back versus Baltimore from a tough Week 2 loss?  How will Los Angeles play in its first road game of the preseason? Has Jacksonville improved enough to beat Cincinnati?

NFL Preseason Week 3 Two-Team Parlay Pick

  • Baltimore -3
  • Los Angeles +5
  • Jacksonville -1.5

Detroit at Baltimore
When:  Saturday, Aug. 26 at 7:00 pm ET
Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore
Odds: Baltimore -3

Analysis: The Lions travel to Baltimore for Week 3, NFL Preseason. Detroit is 1 and 1 in preseason games so far. They scored 30 points to beat Pittsburgh 30 to 17 in Week 1. They gave up 30 points to lose 14 to 30 to Cincinnati in Week 2. So far, Detroit’s offense hasn’t looked bad.

Baltimore is setting up as one of the better teams in the AFC. The Ravens have looked very good in 2 straight NFL Preseason wins. They beat Carolina 22 to 19. They took down Indianapolis 19 to 18. The Ravens were dogs in both games. The defense has looked sharp while the offensive line is playing well.

I like the Ravens to cover the 3 point spread.

Pick: Baltimore

Los Angeles at Denver
When:  Saturday, Aug. 26 at 9:00 pm ET
Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver
Odds: Denver -5

Analysis: So far, so good for the defending Super Bowl champs. Denver destroyed Chicago in Week 1 of NFL Preseason 22 to 0. In Week 2 of NFL Preseason, they lost 24 to 31, but Mark Sanchez tightened his grip on the starting quarterback position. He went 10 out of 17 for 120 yards.

The Los Angeles Rams are undefeated in 2 games this preseason. This is the Rams first road game during the NFL Preseason. I don’t believe L.A. will have trouble covering the spread. 5 points are just too many to give up during the preseason while quarterbacks Jared Goff and Case Keenum have played well so far. The Rams might do enough to win this game outright.
Pick: Los Angeles

NFL Preseason Week 3 Three-Team Parlay Pick

  • Baltimore -3
  • Los Angeles +5
  • Jacksonville -1.5

Cincinnati at Jacksonville
When:  Sunday, Aug. 27 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: EverBank Field, Jacksonville
Odds:  Jacksonville -1.5

Analysis: It remains to be seen which Cincinnati team shows up. The starters might play for at least 3 quarters. If that happens, it’s going to be tougher for Jacksonville to cover the spread. Then again, the Jaguars might be as good as most teams in the AFC, Cincinnati included, in 2016.

The Jaguars have suffered 2 straight losses during the NFL Preseason. I don’t think that matters when it comes to this game. If the Jags play QB Blake Bortles, WR Allen Robinson, WR Allen Hurns, and running backs Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon for 3 quarters, they could dominate the Bengals. I like Jacksonville to cover the spread.

Pick: Jacksonville
