Parlay Picks NFL Week 5

As usual, if you like increasing your chances of cashing in big by putting a few wagers together as part of a potentially bankroll-boosting parlay, I’ve got your back thanks to my trio of Week 5 parlay NFL picks that all look like money in the bank from where I’m sitting.

Since the weekend will be here before you know it, let’s get down to business.

Parlay Picks NFL Week 5

2-Team Parlay Pick NFL Football Week 5

  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Tennessee Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1)
When: Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
NFL Odds: Pittsburgh -9
Total: 44.5

Analysis: The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a classic ‘Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’ team in going 2-2 through four weeks while alternating wins and losses along the way. The Jags were on the wrong end of a narrow 23-20 loss to the Jets this past Sunday as quarterback Blake Bortles was back to his usual mediocre self by going 15 for 35 for 140 yards with one TD and one pick.

Pittsburgh basically man-handled Baltimore in their 26-9 win this past weekend by picking off Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco twice and finally getting a breakout game from running back Le’Veon Bell who rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

While a whopping 64 percent of public bettors are already backing the Jags as a 9-point road dog in this one, I just don’t see Jacksonville covering the spread against a Steelers team that is superior in all three phases. Pittsburgh is 3-1-1 ATS in its last five home games and should roll to the double-digit win after doing so against Baltimore the last time out.

Pick: Pittsburgh -9

Tennessee Titans (2-2) at Miami Dolphins (1-2)
When: Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
NFL Odds: Tennessee -3
Total: OFF

Analysis: Sure, Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans got beat around like a rag doll in their 57-14 Week 4 loss against Houston this past Sunday, but there is no way I’m picking the pitiful Miami Dolphins to win this game or cover the NFL betting line seeing as how they’re coming off a humbling 20-0 shutout loss to New Orleans one week after scoring all of six points in a loss to the New York Jets.

Jay Cutler is a bum of the highest order, yet Colin Kaepernick can’t get a job? The Titans may be without starting quarterback Marcus Mariota in this contest after he suffered a hamstring injury this past weekend, but veteran backup Matt Cassel is just as good as Cutler if not better.

The Titans are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games on grass while Miami has gone 6-13 ATS in their last 19 home games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record. Miami loses big again in this contest despite being at home and rightfully so I say.

Pick: Tennessee -3

3-Team Parlay Pick NFL Football Week 5

  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers (3-1) at Dallas Cowboys (2-2)
When: Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 4:25 PM ET
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
NFL Odds: Dallas -2.5
Total: 52.5

Analysis: Let’s see, the Dallas Cowboys have a pass defense that generally looks like Swiss cheese and now they get to face the incomparable Aaron Rodgers? While Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are legitimate stars for Dallas on the offensive side of the ball, again, Dallas’ defense is nothing to write home about and got shredded against the improved Los Angeles Rams in their 35-30 loss on Sunday as Jared Goff and Todd Gurley shined for Los Angeles.

All Rodgers did was put 35 points on the board against Chicago in Thursday night’s 35-14 win over their longtime NFC North division rivals. The Packers have won six of the last seven meetings against the Cowboys including last season’s 34-31 divisional round playoff win.

Green Bay has gone 9-3 ATS in their last dozen games following an SU win and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall. Conversely, Dallas is just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games against a team with a winning road record.

Pick: Green Bay +2.5
