NFL Preseason Week 2 Over/Under Predictions

NFL Preseason Week 2 Over/Under Predictions

My Over/Under predictions for the opening week of NFL preseason action went 3-1 and I am back this week with FIVE more over/under total score predictions.

NFL Preseason Week 2 Over/Under Predictions

Green Bay Packers vs. Baltimore Ravens: 40

The Green Bay Packers scored 28 in their win over the Houston Texans. Green Bay’s offense should be even tighter in NFL Preseason Week 2. The Ravens dominated the Jaguars 29-0 in Week 1. Although Green Bay must work on its defense, right now, the priority is offense because head coach Matt Lafleur’s system is tough to grasp. Expect a high-scoring affair with both teams possibly posting over 20.

Pick: Over

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: 44 ½

The Chiefs can’t help but score points. They dropped 38 versus a decent Cincinnati Bengals’ defense in their first preseason game. That was with Patrick Mahomes only playing one series. Ben Roethlisberger didn’t even play a series for the Steelers. He should play at least one in the second Pittsburgh preseason game. Even if he doesn’t, KC’s defense isn’t close to gelling. Over is the play.

Pick: Over

Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings: 42

Minnesota’s rushing attack was on point against the New Orleans Saints. The Vikings rumbled for 213 yards from 27 carries in NFL Preseason Week 1. Don’t expect Minnesota to repeat that performance versus the Seahawks. The Hawks held Denver to 91 rush yards in preseason Week 1. Going under.

Pick: Under

San Francisco 49ers vs. Denver Broncos: 42 ½

Denver scored 14 while the 49ers put 17 onto the scoreboard in NFL Preseason Week 1. The 49ers won’t light it up. Too many questions at wide receiver. Denver won’t light it up, either. The Broncos run a ball-control offense. Here’s another game where neither team’s strategy benefits over players.

Pick: Under

Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts: 43

Browns’ quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 5-of-6 for 77 yards and a TD in Cleveland’s 30-10 win over Washington. The Colts didn’t play Andrew Luck in Week 1. They will in Week 2. The Cleveland Browns’ offense should be on point just like it was in Week 1 when it racked up over 400 total yards. Over.

Pick: Over
