NFL Preseason Week 3 Parlay PicksJosh Bailey
NFL Preseason Week 3 games kick-off on Thursday, August 24th. But my NFL Preseason Week 3 parlay picks are all weekend games.
The celebration still isn't over for the Patriots. https://t.co/02DTQ2jcJH

Will it be Chicago or Tennessee in the early game? Who made my parlay in the afternoon game, Cincinnati or Washington? Finally, will Minnesota cover the NFL betting spread against San Francisco on NBC Sunday Night Football?
2-Team Parlay Pick NFL Preseason Week 3
- Tennessee -2
- Cincinnati +3
Chicago at Tennessee
When: Sunday, Aug. 27 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN
Odds: Tennessee -2
Analysis: In NFL Preseason Week 2, Chicago beat Arizona in the desert 24 to 23. The game ended up as a pick. The Bears spent a lot of time working on the rushing attack. Chicago rushed for 102 yards from 31 carries. Round 1 QB pick Mitch Trubisky completed 6 out of 8 for 60 yards and a TD.
Chicago looked good on offense. The defense didn’t look very good at all. That could be a concern for Coach Fox. The reason is because Arizona played Blaine Gabbert at QB for most of the game. RB David Johnson only carried the ball 3 times.
I think Tennessee is in a good position to cover the spread as a favorite versus Chicago in NFL Preseason Week 3. The Titans rushed for 134 yards in their 34 to 27 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. The Titans rushing attack didn’t even use RB DeMarco Murray, who projects to be their RB1.
I like Tennessee to win this game by around 6 to 10 points on Sunday.
Pick: Tennessee ATS
Cincinnati at Washington
When: Sunday, Aug. 27 at 4:30 pm ET
Where: FedEx Field, Washington, D.C.
Odds: Washington -3
Analysis: Washington should be favored in their NFL Preseason Week 3 battle versus the Cincinnati Bengals on August 27. The DC’ers haven’t won a preseason game yet. They lost 3 to 23 to Baltimore in Week 1. They lost 17 to 21 to Green Bay in Week 2.
Still, Week 3 is traditionally when NFL Teams put something together that they’re going to use during the regular season. Washington needs to do that this Sunday. I believe that’s why they end up the favorites.
I like Cincinnati to win this game straight up. Marvin Lewis took a look at some of the young players on the Bengals’ defense in the 12 to 30 loss to Kansas City in Week 2. Lewis figures to give his starters on D more playing time in NFL Preseason Week 3.
I also feel QB Andy Dalton plays at least a half. I like the Bengals straight up.
Pick: Cincinnati straight up
3-Team Parlay Pick NFL Preseason Week 3
- Tennessee -2
- Cincinnati +3
- San Francisco +2.5
San Francisco at Minnesota
When: Sunday, Aug. 27 at 8:00 pm ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis
Odds: Minnesota -2.5
Analysis: The Minnesota Vikings have already gotten a lot out of the NFL Preseason. In Week 1, Minnesota beat Buffalo 17 to 10. In Week 2, Minnesota lost 13 to 20 to Seattle. The Vikings appear ready to show what they’ve got during the regular season.
That’s why I don’t feel Coach Zimmer is going to push his starters too much in this game. San Francisco, on the other hand, must figure some things out before the regular season starts.
The 49’ers are destined to use QB Brian Hoyer for at least 2 quarters in this game. He might play for 3 quarters. I think Minnesota takes it easy on their starters while San Francisco must play their starters into regular season shape.
I like the 49’ers to cover as a dog.
Pick: San Francisco ATS
