The 3-point underdog Baltimore Ravens will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL preseason week 2 betting action. The game kicks off on Saturday night from Lincoln Financial Field at 7:00 PM ET after a week of joint practices.

This is a big week for the Eagles. Rumors are that head coach Chip Kelly will finally debut both of his newly acquired weapons: QB Sam Bradford and RB DeMarco Murray. Kelly has been cautious with Bradford after his season was cut short last year after a preseason injury with the Rams. Bradford has played just seven games over the last two seasons, and 49 games since he entered the league. While the joint practices will still be limited contact, Bradford will face a pass rush for the first time in close to a year.
The Ravens already look in mid-season form. This is a team that is prepared to compete every season. I expect the Ravens to leave their starters in for almost a full half this week.

Few teams looked as impressive and on the same page Philadelphia Eagles did last week. Their use of Kelly’s hurry-up Ducks offense was breathtaking. Last week they cycled through three QBs: March Sanchez, Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow.

Sanchez completed 2 of 7 passes for 52 yards, with 1 TD & 0 INT. Barkley went 12-20 for 192 yards 0 TDs & 1 INT. Alas it was Tebow that everyone wanted to see. The former Bronco, Jet and Patriot came in late in the game against the Colts last week. Even though he played against the rookies, un-drafted free agents and long-shot hopefuls, he fit into Kelly’s offense perfectly.
"You also have to look at who is in with who,” head coach Chip Kelly told Mark Eckel of NJ Advance Media. "There were a different set of receivers in there with Tim, than with Matt (Barkley) and Mark (Sanchez),” Kelly said. "And really a different line at times. There were some plays where you might say ‘why did Tim do that’ but the receiver ran the wrong route. He’s expecting a shallow cross, and there is no shallow cross. So what do you do?”

The preseason for teams like the Ravens is soley to take a look at their late round rookies, un-drafted free agents and long-shot hopefuls.
Starting QB Joe Flacco saw the field for a single series. He completed 5 of 6 passes for 33 yards, without a score or an interception. Veteran QB Matt Schaub will replace him at some point and then Bryn Renner will play cleanup.
“Joe’s going to continue to get better,” head coach John Harbaugh told Kevin Tresolini of The News Journal . “But it’s also our job to continue to build around him and put the pieces in place to help him shine, too.”

My NFL Preseason Week 2 Free Pick: Ravens 27-31 Eagles
The Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Eagles are 11-24-1 ATS in their last 36 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.
I expect Philadelphia’s second stringers and beyond will have more motivation than the Ravens as the Eagles depth is more of a question than Baltimore’s
