Saints Vs Falcons Line & Expert PickJosh Bailey
After seeing their playoff hopes take a bit of a hit last weekend, NFL bettors need to know whether or not Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons can bounce back in their huge Week 14 NFC South divisional rivalry against Drew Brees and a New Orleans Saints team that recorded another big win last weekend.
New Orleans Saints Vs Atlanta Falcons Line & Expert Pick
New Orleans Saints (9-3) and Atlanta Falcons (7-5)

Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia
TV: NBC, NFL Network
NFL Odds: New Orleans -1.5
Why Bet The Saints…
The Saints bounced back from their humbling Week 12 loss against the Rams to record their ninth win in their last 10 games by beating Carolina 31-21 in another huge division rivalry this past weekend. Drew Brees passed for 269 yards with one TD pass and no interceptions, but it was the combination of running backs Mark Ingram and rookie Alvin Kamura that really did the Panthers in.
Ingram rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries while Kamura added 60 yards and two scores on just nine carries to continue his Rookie of the Year kind of campaign. Kamura also added five catches for 66 yards and Ingram caught six passes for 37 yards.
Why Bet The Falcons…
Atlanta will be quite desperate after getting manhandled in their 14-9 loss to Minnesota last weekend. The Falcons took the opening kickoff down the field for a field goal, but could never get in the end zone while managing just one field goal in the second and third quarters before getting shut out in the final frame against the Vikes. Matt Ryan was limited to 16 of 29 passing for 173 yards. Running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman were held to a combined 96 rushing yards.
Saints Vs Falcons Expert Pick
Prior to their loss against the Vikings last weekend, the Falcons had won three straight while scoring at least 27 points in all three games and an identical 34 points in two of those contests. While New Orleans has a very good defense, it’s not as good as Minnesota’s and I can see Matt Ryan and the Falcons making some plays in this one.
The underdog in this rivalry is a robust 13-3 in the last 16 meetings and that, combined with the fact that the Falcons are completely and utterly desperate, makes Atlanta the pick for me in this Week 14 NFC South showdown!
