Seahawks Vs Cardinals Spread & ATS Pick

NFL Week 10 kicks off this Thursday Night when the Seattle Seahawks head to Phoenix to face the Arizona Cardinals in what should be a dynamite game between two competitive NFC West foes. The game kicks-off at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ at 8:25 pm ET on NBC.

Seattle is 5 and 3 straight up this season. The Seahawks are only 3 and 5 against the spread. Arizona is 2 and 6 against the spread. The Cardinals are only 4 and 4 straight up on the season.

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals Spread & ATS Pick

The Week 10 Thursday night football betting spread opened favoring Seattle by 4.5-points. Early action backing the Seahawks has pushed the spread to 5.5. The total in this game is at 41.5 after having opened at 42.5.

Bet on Seattle Seahawks -5.5 because…

Seattle’s passing attack can flummox the Arizona Cardinals’ secondary. Outside of corner Patrick Peterson, Arizona’s secondary isn’t that great. The Cardinals allow an average of 249.2 passing yards per game. If Peterson takes away WR Doug Baldwin, that still leaves TE Jimmy Graham and WR Paul Richardson for the Cards to deal with.

Bet on Arizona Cardinals +5.5 because…

The Cardinals have a rushing attack now that Adrian Peterson is in the fold. The Cards handed Peterson the ball 37 times in Week 9. He rushed for 159 yards. That’s a 4.3 per rush average.

Peterson, 32, was a workhorse in his third game with the Cardinals. He posted the most carries ever for a player in his 30s and topped the 100-yard mark for the second time since being acquired in a trade from New Orleans last month.

Seahawks Vs Cardinals ATS Pick

Not only is AP a real running back, but Seattle’s defense hasn’t always stood up to tough rushers. Seattle’s D allows 109.4 rushing yards per game. Houston uncorked 142 rushing yards versus the Seahawks in Week 8. In Week 9, Washington scored 2 rushing TDs.

The reason I bring up Adrian Peterson’s ability to rush against the Seahawks’ defense is because that’s the only way for Zona to beat Seattle on Thursday night.

The Seahawks boast one of the best passing offenses in the NFL. If Arizona can’t control the flow of the game with AP, they could lose by 20 points. Well, can the Cardinals control the flow of the game with AP?

Injuries to the Seattle D also put the Cardinals in the driver’s seat in this tilt. Safety Earl Thomas (hamstring) and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (oblique) were inactive because of injuries last week.

I like Arizona to beat the Seahawks straight up in this.
