Upset Pick NFL Week 16:

Upset Picks NFL Week 16

With a couple of more upsets taking place this past weekend to extend this year’s season-long streak of at least one upset taking place every weekend, I’ve identified three more Week 16 matchups that all have outstanding chances of being ‘upset special’ kinds of picks. If you’re looking for upset value, then look no further!

Upset Picks NFL Week 16

Cleveland (0-14) at Chicago (4-10)
When: Sunday, Dec. 24 2017, at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, ILL
Chicago -6.5

Analysis: The Browns have yet to win a game this season, but they won one a year ago and I like them to get another this season – by beating a Chicago Bears team that isn’t much better than they are. The Browns put up a helluva’ fight against the Chargers three weeks ago and followed that up with another good effort against Green Bay in Week 14. Chicago has lost six of its last seven and may not have the best quarterback in this contest featuring rookies DeShone Kizer for the Browns and Mitchell Trubisky for Chicago. I’m smelling an upset just waiting to happen in this one!

Upset Pick NFL Week 16: Cleveland +6.5

NY Giants (2-12) at Arizona (6-8)
When: Sunday, Dec. 24 2017, at 4:25 PM ET
Where: U of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ
Arizona -4.5

Analysis: The Giants may have lost four straight, but they put up a great effort against Philadelphia in their narrow 34-29 loss on Sunday and I’m going to pick them to get the outright win over an Arizona Cardinals team that has lost two of three and four of its last six games overall. Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning could be 75-years-old and he’d still be infinitely better than Arizona backup Blaine Gabbert! Besides, the G-Men are 4-2 ATS in their last six road games while the Cards have gone 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall.

Upset Pick NFL Week 16: Giants +4.5

Seattle (8-6) at Dallas (8-6)
When: Sunday, Dec. 24 2017, at 4:25 PM ET
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
Dallas -2.5

Analysis: The Seattle Seahawks have been a major disappointment for me by losing to Jacksonville and getting dominated 42-7 at home against the Rams the last two weeks while Dallas has done a good job of keeping their playoff hopes alive by winning three straight. The Cowboys will have star running back Ezekiel Elliott back on the field for this huge Week 16 matchup, but I’m thinking Seattle’s all-out desperation, plus a healthy dose of Russell Wilson, will be just enough to get the huge road upset at Jerry’s World. Besides, it’s not like Dallas has had their hand full the last three weeks of getting past the mediocre Redskins, Giants and suddenly dysfunctional Raiders.
