How To Watch Super Bowl XLVIII Without Cable

With more and more people cutting the cord when it comes to their television you may be wondering how you can watch the Super Bowl this weekend without cable?

Fear not. Get your Super Bowl bets in early and sit back.

Watching the Super Bowl online has become easier over the last few years. NBC was the first to broadcast the Super Bowl online for free in 2012, attracting 2.1 million users. CBS streamed last year’s Super Bowl with 3 million users watching, up 43% from the previous year.

This Sunday, February 2nd, Fox will stream the Super Bowl on your desktop, iPhone and iPad using the Fox Sports app. You will also get access to pre and post game shows.

Fox is upping the ante by allowing non-subscribers to watch as well, by unlocking the app during the Super Bowl. Usually, streaming is restricted to cable subscribers.

For U.S. Military service members and Americans living abroad, the Super Bowl can be streamed live from US TV Now. Accounts are available for free, you can upgrade to HD for a fee.
