Winning Week 13 NFL Parlay Picks

My NFL Week 13 parlay picks are about one favorite and two underdogs. New Orleans welcomes Detroit in a clash of two teams with momentum. Who wins the battle? Can Buffalo top hot Oakland in California against the spread? How will struggling Carolina fair versus Seattle on the road in Week 13?

Week 13 NFL 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • New Orleans -5.5
  • Buffalo +3

Detroit at New Orleans
When:  Sunday, Dec. 4 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Superdome, New Orleans, LA
TV: FOX
Odds: New Orleans -5.5

Analysis:  The Saints finally played a complete game from beginning to end in Week 12. As a home favorite over the Los Angeles Rams, the Saints not only stepped it up on offense, but they also stepped it up on defense.

Granted, New Orleans gave up 3 TD passes to rookie Rams’ QB Jared Goff. But they picked Goff off once and forced a fumble. More impressively, they held the Rams’ rushing attack to only 69 total yards from 17 carries.

On defense, the Saints offensive line dominated the Rams’ defensive line. It was a thing of beauty. New Orleans should be able to do the same thing to a Detroit defense that will struggle against Drew Brees in the Dome. The fact that Detroit has no rushing attack to speak of won’t help their cause.

Pick: New Orleans

Buffalo at Oakland
When:  Sunday, Dec. 4 at 4:05 pm ET
Where: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA
TV: CBS
Odds: Buffalo +3

Analysis: Oakland has been exceptional this season. Okay, I have to take Raiders’ fans down a peg or two. Oakland hasn’t been exceptional. QB Derek Carr has been exceptional. He’s brought the Raiders back from the brink of a loss more than once in 2016.

Eventually, that’s not going to work. The Raiders’ defense is still a mess. RB LeSean McCoy and QB Tyrod Taylor should have their way against Oakland’s D in Week 13. I mean, the Raiders allow 390 total yards of offense per game on average.

I’m going with the Bills.

Pick: Buffalo

Week 13 NFL 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • New Orleans -5.5
  • Buffalo +3
  • Carolina +7

Carolina at Seattle
When:  Sunday, Dec. 4 at 8:30 pm ET
Where: Citi Field, Seattle, WA
TV: NBC
Odds: Carolina +7

Analysis: Seattle only scored 5 points versus Tampa Bay’s defense in a surprising 5 to 13 loss to the Buccaneers this past Sunday. It was a terrible, horrible, performance by the Seahawks, who aren’t nearly as good of a team as so many football analysts believe them to be.

At least, at times they don’t play like a good team. Carolina let a win against Oakland sneak away from them. The Panthers lost by only 3 points to the Raiders in Week 12. Carolina should find things easier versus the Seahawks in Week 13 since Seattle’s offense isn’t nearly as good as Carolina’s.

Even without Luke Kuechly, 7 points are too many to give to Carolina.

Pick: Carolina
