NFL Week 14 Lock Picks
Due to parity in the NFL, it’s very hard to find any sure-things, but there are definitely a few possible NFL Week 14 Lock Picks. San Francisco goes over the bridge to battle Oakland in a must win situation while New England tackles San Diego in an important game with AFC Playoff implications. The final lock concerns Green Bay and Atlanta, two teams who are battling for playoff spots.
Analyzing My NFL Week 14 Lock Picks
San Francisco 49’ers at Oakland Raiders
When: Sunday, Dec. 7 at 4:25 pm ET
Betting Line: San Francisco -7.5
Analysis: San Francisco is favored by over a touchdown versus Oakland. Will it matter? It shouldn’t. Oakland goes into this game after losing 0 to 52 to St. Louis on the road. They play a team that is desperate for a victory with a quarterback that the Raiders’ defense should have a terrible time containing.

San Francisco also rushes the ball very well. Defensively, Oakland shouldn’t be able to put any points on the board against the 49’ers D. San Francisco allows only 20.8 points per game on average and they’ve played against much better offensive teams than Oakland this season and have won. The Raiders score 14.7 points per game. San Francisco should win by over 20 points in this matchup.
NFL Week 14 Lock Pick: San Francisco -7.5
New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers
When: Sunday, Dec. 7 at 8:30 pm ET
Betting Line: New England -3.5
Analysis: Because New England lost to Green Bay on the road this past Sunday, their battle against San Diego on the road has become a must win situation. The Patriots are fighting for play off positioning. They want home field advantage throughout. A victory over San Diego will go a long way in helping them get there.
San Diego scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to upset Baltimore 34 to 33 in their last game. QB Phillip Rivers faces a very good New England defensive backfield, one that should shut down San Diego’s passing attack and the Bolts only average 87.3 yards per game via the rush.

New England’s offense is ranked in the Top 10 in every statistical category except for rushing yards per game. Still, when needed, the Patriots can beat a team up with four solid running backs in Brandon Bolden, Shane Vereen, LeGarrette Blount, and Jonas Gray. The Patriots should handle the Chargers this Sunday.
NFL Week 14 Lock Pick: New England -3.5
Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers
When: Monday, Dec. 8 at 8:30 pm ET
Betting Line: Green Bay -11.5
Analysis: Green Bay is just a different team at home than they are on the road. The scores in the last three Packer home games have been: Green Bay 55-Chicago 14, Green Bay 50-Philadelphia 20 and Green Bay 26-New England 21. But on the road, Green Bay has had problems. They could only beat Miami 27 to 24, they lost 23 to 44 to New Orleans and they could barely beat Minnesota 24 to 21 in their last game on the road.

Luckily for the Packers this game on Monday is at Lambeau Field. Atlanta has no shot in this contest because their defense is giving up 284.9 passing yards per game and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers is unreal at home.
