Week 8 NFL Parlay Picks

NFL Week 14 Parlay Picks – Lions + Chiefs + G-Men = ?

It’s time to take a look at NFL Week 14’s top parlay picks. The first team to consider is Detroit. The Lions were 23 to 27 losers to Green Bay in Week 13, but that loss was only due to a Hail Mary pass. Detroit figures to bounce back big time against St. Louis on Sunday. Also on Sunday, Kansas City hosts reeling San Diego. The Chargers are likely to move and share a stadium with the Raiders in the near future. Too bad the Chargers won’t be bringing one of the better football teams in the NFL to Los Angeles. The final game to look at is the New York Giants against the Miami Dolphins. Don’t forget about the 6-Team Bonus Parlay at the end of the article.

NFL Week 14 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • Detroit -1
  • Kansas City -10

Detroit at St. Louis
When: Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1:00 pm ET
Odds: Detroit +1

Analysis: St. Louis is a mess of a team. Without decent quarterback play, teams have zoned in on rookie RB Todd Gurley. Gurley broke into the NFL on fire. He rushed for 664 yards in the first 6 games in which he played. In the last 3 games in which he’s played, Gurley has rushed for a paltry 130 yards.

Detroit has one of the better rush defenses in the NFL. The Lions allow only 108.7 rushing yards per game. You have to figure that Gurley is going to get a lot less than that since his offensive line can’t seem to figure out anybody’s defensive line, not just the Lions.

When it comes to Detroit’s offense versus St. Louis’ defense, forget about it. The Rams’ supposedly strong defense allowed Cincinnati to blow them up for 31 points in a 7 to 31 loss in Week 12. In Week 13, Arizona scored 27. Detroit will cover the spread.

Pick: Detroit

San Diego at Kansas City
When: Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1:00 pm ET
Odds: Kansas City -10

Analysis: San Diego just isn’t a very good team. The Chargers have a future Hall-of-Fame QB in Phillip Rivers. Rivers has been dazzling this season. Rivers averages a bit under 310 yards passing per game. But the rest of San Diego is an absolute mess. The defense is a mess. The offensive line isn’t good enough to spring rookie RB Melvin Gordon. San Diego needed 31 points to beat Jacksonville 31 to 25 on Nov. 29. It was San Diego’s first win since beating Cleveland 30 to 27 on October 24.

Kansas City matches up very well with the Bolts. KC is starting to match up well with every team in the NFL, actually. The Chiefs are averaging close to 125 yards per game on the ground. The defense is allowing only 239.5 passing yards per game. KC should cover the spread against San Diego on Dec. 13.

Pick: Kansas City

NFL Week 14 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • Detroit -1
  • Kansas City -10
  • New York Giants PK

New York Giants at Miami
When: Monday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 pm ET
Odds: New York Giants PK

Analysis: Say what you want about the New York Giants. They’re still in the running for the NFC East crown even though they’ve lost 3 games in a row. They’re not out of it because the Giants play in one of the worst divisions in football.

The G-Men should have no trouble covering the spread against a bad Miami team. Miami could manage only 15 points in a 15 to 13 win over Baltimore in Week 13. The Dolphins just aren’t good enough to win 2 games in a row. Plus, any time that Giants’ Coach Tom Coughlin and QB Eli Manning have their backs against the wall, the team usually responds. Expect the Giants to come out and easily take apart a Miami defense that just hasn’t played up to its potential.

Pick: New York Giants

Bonus NFL 6-Team Parlay Pick

  • Detroit -1
  • Kansas City -10
  • New York Giants PK
  • Cleveland -1.5
  • Buffalo +2
  • Houston +3.5
