NFL Week 15 ATS Betting Analysis

Houston Texans at New York Jets
When: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 4:30 pm ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
TV: NFL
Spread: Houston -6.5

Analysis: The Texans finally fell down to earth. Houston rode an incredible 9-game winning streak into their Week 14 battle with the Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis used a fired up defense to beat Houston 24-21. If you’re a Texans’ fan, don’t worry. Houston should get back on track against one of the worst teams in the NFL, the New York Jets.

Rookie Jets quarterback Sam Darnold rallied his team to a win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 14. No rally will come on Saturday.

The Texans win this by at least 10 points. Houston could blow out the Jets by 20 to 30 because NYJ will have no answer for Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins.

Pick: Houston Texans

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
When: Sunday, Dec. 16 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
TV: FOX
Spread: Chicago -5

Analysis: The Chicago Bears are a different team at home than they are on the road. The Bears were horrible in Week 13 on the road against the New York Giants. NYG beat Chicago 30-27.

7 days later and look how Chicago played at home? As a +3.5 dog, the Bears dominated the Rams, picking off Jared Goff 3 times and handing Los Angeles their second loss of the season. Chicago does some great things at home.

They get the rival Packers at home on Sunday. The Bears will win and cover.

Pick: Chicago Bears

Washington Redskins at Jacksonville Jaguars
When: Sunday, Dec. 16 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: TIAA Bank Field, Jacksonville, FL
TV: CBS
Spread: Jacksonville -7

Analysis: There’s something wrong with Washington. Sure, we all know that the team from D.C. has lost both quarterbacks. But, how do we explain the New York Giants beating Washington 40-16 on FedEx Field.

Jacksonville has one of the top defenses in the NFL, anyhow. At home, like most NFL teams, the Jags play much better than they do on the road. Jags will dominate Washington from the beginning while it’s obvious that Jay Gruden’s team has thrown in the towel.

Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars
