Week 15 NFL Upset Picks

Picking football wagering underdogs that win straight up is a great skill that I have honed over years in the sports betting world and I have a trio Week 15 NFL upset picks that I am confident of scoring a triple on. As you’ll notice with Steelers vs Bengals and Chiefs vs Raiders, much of the time these upside NFL moneyline bets are Divisional rivals. Let the fun BEGIN!

Week 15 NFL Upset Picks

Who: Indianapolis Colts (6-7) at Minnesota Vikings (7-6)
When:  Sunday, Dec. 18 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: U.S. Bank Stadium – Minneapolis, MN
Odds: Minnesota -4

Analysis: I can understand that Minnesota fans are pumped up about a win that puts the Vikings back in the hunt to get in the NFL Playoffs, but let’s remember that was just their 2nd win in the last 9 weeks. AND it was against Jacksonville.

On the plus side, Sam Bradford looked great completing 24 of 34 passes for 292 yards although they are still having trouble with their running game which is the WORST in the NFL. The Vikings have the 3rd best passing defense and overall defense in the NFL, but without generating offense or scoring they can’t keep winning.

Andrew Luck has had shoulder issues, but he lit up the Jets on MNF against the Jets and did OK against the Houston Texans except for a couple plays. Amazingly, Frank Gore still looks fresh and TY Hilton is flying down the sidelines so this is a GREAT upset pick.

Week 15 Upset Pick: Indianapolis Colts

Who: Pittsburgh Steelers (8-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (5-7-1)
When:  Sunday, Dec. 18 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Paul Brown Stadium – Cincinnati, OH
Odds: Pittsburgh -3.5

Analysis: Cincinnati has won their last 2 games doing it without injured AJ Green and Andy Dalton is adjusting to his new wide receivers fairly well. As of this writing it is not known if AJ Green will be able to play in this game and if he does even better!

Jeremy Hill picked up a lot of the slack nicely for AJ and Giovani Bernard by rushing for 111 yards on 25 carries and catching 3 more balls for 31 yards coming into this game as a 3.5 betting pointspread underdog.

For the Steelers Le’Veon Bell is still crushing it and set Pittsburgh records this week rushing for 236 yard and adding another 62 yards receiving. Big Ben Roethlisberger had a horrible week only throwing for 220 yards and 3 interceptions against Buffalo. Cincinnati has a tough pass defense ranked 12th in the NFL, and this will be a problem for the Steelers.

Pittsburgh won the earlier meeting at home with Cincy, and much of the time teams will split these games just as I believe will happen in this AFC North rivalry.

Week 15 Upset Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +3.5 & STRONG chance to defeat Pittsburgh straight up

Who: Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers
When:  Sunday, Dec. 18 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: Qualcomm Stadium – San Diego, CA
Odds: San Diego +3

Analysis: The Raiders come to San Diego totally frazzled after what probably seemed like a hallucination as bad as it went for Derek Carr. I watched that whole game, and Kansas City made him look like a College Football player at times. You have to give the Chiefs credit for showing up and looking strong though!

One thing I know is that Philip Rivers doesn’t give up ever, and he is trying to win until the end. His teammates get on board too, or he will blow up and out and everything. This could be the Chargers winning by a touchdown or more in this one, and I am NOT kidding. I LOVE THIS PLAY!

Week 15 Upset Pick: San Diego Chargers +3 and 4 score on the Moneyline San Diego +125
