Analyzing The Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles NFL Week 15 Sunday Night Football Odds
The Dallas Cowboys have had a full week’s rest after playing two consecutive Thursday games and this game kicks off late on Sunday Night Football on NBC. The NFL betting odds have the Cowboys as 3.5 point underdogs, but this team is undefeated on the road this season.
Last weeks convincing 41-28 win over the Chicago Bears secured their first nine wins season for the first time in four years. In the victory, RB DeMarco Murray topping 100 yards on the ground for the 11th time this season, and reaching 1606 yards a 9 TDs as a season total and putting the Cowboys as the 3rd best running team in the NFL. QB Tony Romo has 2923 yards in the season, 25 TDs & 8 INTs while leading the team to be the 18th best passing offense in the league.

After the Thanksgiving Day loss to the Eagles, Romo admitted he did not take a pain-killing injection before the game and may have broken a rib this season.
"I wasn’t as comfortable last week going into the game," Romo said. "I didn’t take a shot for the first time this year and a couple of things were probably poor decisions on my part leading up to the game."
Dez Bryant and Jason Witten have combined for more than 1,500 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns while Cole Beasley has three touchdowns in his last three touchdowns.

The Philadelphia Eagles couldn’t build on their win in Dallas and lost at home to the suddenly surging Seattle Seahawks 24-14 last week. It seems the second coming of QB Mark Sanchez was premature as he thew for a disappointing 96 yards, completing only 10 of just 20 passes. He did put up 2 TDs & 1 INT.
RB LeSean McCoy, who had a great day in Dallas, averaged 2.9 yards per carry against the Seahawks, earning 50 on 17 carries. The Eagles looked bush league against Seattle, losing their first home game while retaining the ball for just 18:04 of the 60 minutes Philadelphia has the 7th ranked passing offense and 7rd ranked rushing unit, which will be looking for balance in their biggest game of the season, yet.
Defensively both teams are similar. The Cowboys have the 23rd ranked total defense and Eagles have the 25th. Dallas allows 23.2 points per game (18th) and Philadelphia 23.8 (20th). The Cowboys do have an edge in turn over differential at -1 to the Eagles -6.
Dallas is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Philadelphia and 6-0 SU away from this season. The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Dallas’s last 8 games when playing Philadelphia, and in 4 of Dallas’s last 5 games when playing on the road against Philadelphia.
The Sunday Night Football online odds in this NFL Week 15 tilt do favor the home town Eagles, but I fully expect the Cowboys to correct their problems from their last meeting and win this game. Tony take your shots!!!
