Week 17 NFL Parlay Picks

My Week 17 NFL parlay picks center on teams fighting for something in the last week of the regular season. Can Buffalo win one for coach Rex Ryan before Buffalo’s brass sends him packing? Can Baltimore gain some measure of respect by beating Cincinnati on the road? How well is Oakland going to play on the road against rival Denver without their leader, QB Derek Carr?

Week 17 NFL 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • Buffalo -6
  • Baltimore +2.5

Buffalo at NY Jets
When:  Sunday, Jan. 1 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: MetLife Stadium, Meadowlands, NJ
TV: CBS
Odds: Buffalo -6

Analysis: Although Buffalo lost 31 to 34 to the Miami Dolphins in Week 16, the Bills’ offense was phenomenal. QB Tyrod Taylor threw for 329 yards and 3 TD passes. RB LeSean McCoy rushed 24 times for 128 yards. He scored a rushing TD. He also caught 5 of 6 targets for 17 yards. WR Sammy Watkins dominated with 7 catches from 10 targets for 154 yards and a TD.

Will Buffalo’s offense take a step back in Week 17?  That’s not likely. The Bills are playing for Rex Ryan in his last game as Buffalo’s head coach. Players love Ryan. Taylor and McCoy especially love Ryan since he’s the one who gave both players the shots that they needed to become stars in the NFL.

The Jets’ defense has allowed 41 points twice and 34 points once in 3 out of NYJ’s last 4 games. The Jets just want to end the season already.

Pick: Buffalo

Baltimore at Cincinnati
When:  Sunday, Jan. 1 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
TV: CBS
Odds: Baltimore +2.5

Analysis: It’s been a tough season for the Bengals. Baltimore hasn’t been much better than Cincinnati. But the Ravens’ offense should be slightly more effective in this game since they’ll be at full strength while Cincy has shut down A.J. Green for the season.

Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton to WR Brandon LaFell could be a nice combination in this game. But it shouldn’t be enough for the Bengals to keep pace with Baltimore QB Joe Flacco and his bevy of weapons. Baltimore takes this battle straight up.

Pick: Baltimore

Week 17 NFL 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • Buffalo -6
  • Baltimore +2.5
  • Denver -3

Oakland at Denver
When:  Sunday, Jan. 1 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
TV: CBS
Odds: Denver -3

Analysis: You must feel for Oakland and their fans. The Raiders were having a dynamite season, winning game after game, and appearing capable of challenging New England, Pittsburgh, and Kansas City for the AFC Championship. Then, disaster struck.

Great QB Derek Carr broke his leg in Week 16. Without Carr, Oakland could be in serious trouble in this match up. Denver may not make it to the playoffs this season. But the defending Super Bowl Champion could make life terrible for their AFC West rivals by preventing the Raiders from winning the AFC West.

The Broncos should roll.

Pick: Denver
