NFL Week 3 Parlay Picks – Bet The Cards, Falcons & Texans

There are some juicy opening lines for NFL week 3 and I am using the marquee odds for my parlay picks. Jump on these lines before the public action causes a shift in the spread making the parlay risky.

NFL Week 3 Two-Team Parlay Pick

  • Arizona Cardinals -6
  • Atlanta Falcons -1.5

San Francisco 49’ers at Arizona Cardinals
When: Sunday, Sept 27 at 4:05 pm ET
Odds:  Arizona -6

Analysis: San Francisco has actually played well in 2 games so far this season. The 49’ers drubbed Minnesota 20 to 3 in Week 1 while they stuck with Pittsburgh for a moment in Week 2 before ultimately losing 43 to 18.

Arizona presents a much different opponent for the 49’ers. The Cardinals are one of the top teams in the NFL this season. So far, Arizona is ranked first in points scored per game at 39.5 and tenth on defense in rushing yards allowed at 81.5 points per.

The Cards dare you to pass the ball against them. They know that they’ll give up a lot of yards, but if they don’t give up to many points, and control things offensively on their end, they’ll beat you. If AZ starts RB David Johnson, or at least gives him 15 to 20 carries, they’re going to rock San Francisco.

Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys
When:  Sunday, Sept. 27 at 4:25 pm ET
Odds: Atlanta -1.5

Analysis: The Cowboys could be in desperation mode. They lost their top WR in Dez Bryant, one of the best wide receivers in the league, in Week 1. In Week 2, QB Tony Romo broke his collarbone.

It wouldn’t be so bad if Dallas didn’t face one of the top defenses in the NFL this season. Atlanta gave up some yards through the air to Philadelphia in Week 1. They bottled up the Giants in the second half in Week 2.

The Falcons’ D is allowing only 80 yards per game on the ground. That’s a problem for Dallas whose passing game will suffer without Romo and Bryant. This should be a close game. The difference is that Atlanta has their star QB, Matt Ryan, and star WR, Julio Jones, playing while Dallas won’t.

NFL Week 3 Three-Team Parlay Pick

  • Arizona Cardinals  -6
  • Atlanta Falcons -1.5
  • Houston Texans -6.5

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans
When: Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1:00 pm ET
Odds: Houston -6.5

Analysis: You had to have been impressed with Tampa Bay beating New Orleans in the Super Dome 26 to 19 in Week 2. QB Jameis Winston didn’t throw a pick. The Tampa defense forced 3 Saints’ turnovers.

Things will be different versus Houston’s defense. As good as Winston looked, he should look equally as bad versus JJ Watt and the Texans. Tampa Bay’s offensive line just isn’t good enough to protect Winston in this matchup. Expect the Texans to win rather easily.

Pick: Houston -6.5
