Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals Odds, Predictions & Betting Preview

NFL Week 5 Betting Cheat Sheet

The matchups are incredibly interesting in Week 5 in the NFL. Seattle battles undefeated Cincinnati on the road while Denver takes on rival Oakland on the road. In other matchups, two of the most disappointing teams so far this season battle each other when New Orleans travels to Philadelphia. Washington, with their very good defense, goes into Atlanta to take on the Falcons and New England, off of a bye, travels to reeling Dallas. See below for this week’s NFL Best Bets!

A Closer Look At NFL Week 5 Early Betting Picks

Indianapolis at Houston

The Texans’ defense should be too tough for what’s still a bad Indianapolis offense. Indy’s defense isn’t very good either. The Texans should take it.
Pick: Houston

Chicago at Kansas City

Chicago goes into this game off of their first win of the season. After facing 3 undefeated teams, the Broncos, Packers and Bengals, all in a row, the Chiefs have to be licking their chops at going against Chicago this Sunday. The Chiefs should roll in this matchup.
Pick: Kansas City

Seattle at Cincinnati

Seattle’s offense isn’t very good. They made the trade for Jimmy Graham, but who cares?  They still can’t score points. Cincinnati is on a mission. QB Andy Dalton has been close to perfect this season. The Bengals beat the Seahawks.
Pick: Cincinnati

Washington at Atlanta

Washington is a very good team, but Atlanta is the best team in the NFL. The defense looks like Seattle’s defense from a couple of years ago. The offense is hands down the best in the league. Matt Ryan was throwing to Leonard Hankerson not to Julio Jones in Week 5. Forget it. This team rolls.
Pick: Atlanta

Jacksonville at Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay will be looking for their second win of the season. But, they face a decent squad in Jacksonville on Sunday. Even though, the Jags are sitting at 1 and 3, they could have beaten the Colts in Week 5. Go with the Jags.
Pick: Jacksonville

New Orleans at Philadelphia

The Saints looked very good on Sunday night. The question is this:  was the win an anomaly or will the Saints use this to get on a bit of a run? Philadelphia might just be a bad team. Expect New Orleans’ defense to shut down Philly’s rushing attack while Drew Brees should pick apart that Philadelphia defense.
Pick: New Orleans

Cleveland at Baltimore

Baltimore gets to beat up on Cleveland to go to 2 and 3 on the season this Sunday. Cleveland just isn’t a very good team. They might be worse after losing the way that they did to San Diego in Week 4.
Pick: Baltimore

St. Louis at Green Bay

Although Green Bay has been spectacular; they face an excellent defense in St. Louis. The matchup isn’t in Green Bay’s favor in this game. St. Louis could upset the Packers on the road in Lambeau.
Pick: St. Louis

Buffalo at Tennessee

Buffalo was terrible against the Giants in Week 4. The undisciplined Bills now face Marcus Mariota and the Titans coming off of a bye. Tennessee could hand Buffalo another loss.
Pick: Tennessee

Arizona at Detroit

Arizona lost to St. Louis in Week 4. They shouldn’t lose to Detroit on the road. Detroit has a decent defense, but the Lions’ offense is just bad. Expect a low-scoring affair with Arizona coming out on top.
Pick: Arizona

New England at Dallas

Dallas’ defense has no hope of stopping the Patriots’ offense. Dallas’ offense isn’t terrible, but it won’t keep pace in this game. New England wins easily.
Pick: New England

Denver at Oakland

Could Oakland possibly upset the Broncos at home?  Yes, they could. Denver has been escaping against teams like Kansas City and Minnesota. Denver is due for a loss.
Pick: Oakland

San Francisco at NY Giants

The Giants can’t suffer a bounce after beating the Bills on the road as a close to touchdown underdog in Week 4. San Francisco played very well against the Green Bay Packers considering how bad they are as a team. Expect the Giants to come out on top, but it might not be an easy victory.
Pick: NY Giants

Pittsburgh at San Diego

San Diego got lucky versus Cleveland. They won’t get lucky against Pittsburgh. RB Le’Veon Bell has the chance to rush for over 200 yards against that bad San Diego defense.
Pick: Pittsburgh
