NFL Week 13 Upset Picks

Week 7 NFL Parlay Picks

Week 7 in the NFL is here. But before I start on my parlay picks let’s take a look back at last week’s NFL action. Road teams went 3-0 ATS in Sunday afternoon games and underdogs were 2-1 ATS with Atlanta losing 26-24 at Seattle but covering as a 7-point underdog while Kansas City (road fave at Oakland) and Dallas (road ‘dog at Green Bay) coasted to wins. For the week, underdogs are 8-4-1 ATS and overs are 8-5.

Week 7 NFL Parlay Picks

Can Tennessee cover as a home favorite against Indianapolis? Will Minnesota cover as a road favorite versus Philadelphia? How will Buffalo play as a road favorite against rival Miami?  Check out this week’s NFL Parlay Picks!

Week 7 NFL 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • Tennessee -2
  • Minnesota -2

Indianapolis at Tennessee
When:  Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN
TV: CBS
Odds: Tennessee -2

Analysis: Indianapolis played well on Sunday night. The Colts lost 23 to 26 to Houston. But they lost in overtime. QB Andrew Luck managed to throw for 252 yards. He was very good against a tough Houston defense.

But, that doesn’t mean Luck and Indianapolis will beat Tennessee or even cover the 2-point spread this Sunday. Tennessee QB Marcus Mariota has been as good as he could be in the Titans’ last 2 games. Mariota has thrown a combined 6 TD passes to only 1 interceptions. He has passed for a combined 347 yards.

RB DeMarco Murray has rushed for a combined 187 yards while Mariota has rushed for over 60 yards in each of the Titans’ last 2 games. Indianapolis’s defense allows 411.2 total yards per game. Titans’ roll in this match up.

Pick: Tennessee

Minnesota at Philadelphia
When:  Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
TV: FOX
Odds: Minnesota -2

Analysis: The Vikings go into Philadelphia off of a bye. Minnesota is the best team in the NFL right now. They play the type of game that made offensive coordinator Norv Turner famous in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. The Vikings’ defense is great, but Turner’s play-calling has been exceptional.

Even with hall of fame RB Adrian Peterson out for the season, Minnesota has managed to go 5-0 both against the spread and straight up in 2016. That’s a huge accomplishment. But facing Philadelphia on the road could be a problem, right?

I don’t think so. Philly’s issues have been on the defensive side where they couldn’t stop Detroit QB Matthew Stafford and Washington QB Kirk Cousins. Philly QB Carson Wentz has started to show that he’s a rookie.

Philadelphia is a good team. They’ll start winning games again. They just won’t start until after losing to Minnesota this Sunday.

Pick: Minnesota

Week 7 NFL 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • Tennessee -2
  • Minnesota -2
  • Buffalo -2.5

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
When:  Sunday, Oct. 23 at 1:00 pm ET
Where: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, FL
TV: CBS
Odds: Buffalo -2.5

Analysis: The Dolphins were terrific against Pittsburgh this past Sunday. They handled one of the top offenses in the NFL by holding Pitt to only 15 points. It was a great win for Miami. But, they’re due to suffer a letdown versus the rival Bills on Oct. 23.

Buffalo has shown something new this season. The Bills are making adjustments at halftime. After giving up 13 points to San Francisco in the first half this past Sunday, the Bills locked down. Buffalo only allowed the 49’ers to score 3 points off of a field goal in the 4th quarter. Buffalo beat San Francisco 45 to 16.

Rex Ryan’s team is one of the best squads in the entire NFL. Miami shouldn’t play nearly as well this Sunday as they did this past Sunday. I like Buffalo to win this one easily.

Pick: Buffalo
