Week 8 NFL Parlay Picks

My NFL Parlay Picks for Week 8 begins with Atlanta hosting Green Bay. Is Atlanta ready to bounce back from 2 straight losses as a slight favorite against Green Bay on Oct. 30? Who wins when Philadelphia travels to Dallas to take on the NFC East Division leading Cowboys?  Which team has the edge when San Diego travels to Mile High to battle Denver?

Week 8 NFL 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • Atlanta -2.5
  • Philadelphia +4.5

Green Bay at Atlanta
When:  Sunday, Oct. 30 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
Odds: Atlanta -2.5

Analysis: Green Bay’s offense finally woke up in the Packers 26 to 10 win over the Chicago Bears. But Green Bay has a much tougher game ahead of them on Sunday, Oct. 20 against the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome.

Green Bay’s Achilles Heel on defense is their secondary. The Packers allow around 70 rushing yards per game. When it comes to the pass, Green Bay usually folds on defense. The Packers give up 242.2 yards per game through the air.

Atlanta’s Matt Ryan averages 319 passing yards per game. That ranks second in the NFL to the Saints’ Drew Brees. Ryan has thrown for 2,348 yards to go along with 16 TD passes. He’s only thrown 4 picks.

Ryan figures to shred Green Bay’s defense this Sunday. I love the Falcons at -2.5.

Pick: Atlanta -2.5

Philadelphia at Dallas
When:  Sunday, Oct. 30 at 8:30 pm ET
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
Odds: Philadelphia +4.5

Analysis: The Dallas Cowboys are one of the best teams in the NFL. I love how the Cowboys play football. They rely on a strong defense and the top rushing attack in the league.

As much as I love the Cowboys, though, I don’t believe that they are 4.5 points better than Philadelphia. The Eagles go into Big D having upset the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. To me, Philly’s performance against Minnesota was as good as it gets.

I think that Philadelphia finds a way to keep RB Ezekiel Elliott and QB Dak Prescott under control while finding a few holes in Dallas’s defense. I like Philly to possibly win straight up. But since this is a parlay, I’ll back the Eagles at +4.5.

Pick: Philadelphia +4.5

Week 8 NFL 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • Atlanta -2.5
  • Philadelphia +4.5
  • San Diego +6.5

San Diego at Denver
When:  Sunday, Oct. 30 at 4:05 pm ET
Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, Denver, CO
Odds: Denver -6.5

Analysis: Denver takes on Houston on Monday night. This betting line could change. As I write this, Denver is close to a 7-point favorite over San Diego. It doesn’t matter to me if the Broncos end up as -1 favorites in this game. I’m still going with San Diego.

The Chargers beat Denver in San Diego 21 to 13 on Oct. 13. San Diego might just be the better team. Whatever home field advantage Denver might have playing this game at Mile High means nothing because San Diego knows exactly what it’s getting into.

The Bolts have won 2 in a row after losing 3 straight. Each one of San Diego’s losses this season has been by 4 points or less save for the overtime loss to Kansas City in Week 1. San Diego is surging while Denver appears to have taken a step backward.

I think the Chargers win straight up. But I’ll take the points if I can get any.

Pick: San Diego
