Week 9 NFL Parlay Picks

My Week 9 NFL parlay picks start this Thursday when Atlanta heads to rival Tampa Bay. Will Atlanta cover as a road favorite?  I also like Tennessee at San Diego and Oakland hosting Denver. Who wins when Tennessee battles the Chargers on the road this Sunday? Is it possible for Denver to beat Oakland on the road on Nov. 6?

Week 9 NFL 2-Team Parlay Pick

  • Tampa Bay +3
  • Tennessee +4

Atlanta at Tampa Bay
When:  Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 pm ET
Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
Odds: Tampa Bay +3

Analysis: Atlanta played exceptionally well at home to hold off Green Bay 33 to 32. The Falcons’ confidence should be soaring after that win. Football handicappers who made money off Atlanta are flying-high. How else to explain why 83% are backing Atlanta ATS in this?

Tampa Bay lost a close one too Oakland. The Buccaneers lost 30 to 24 to the Raiders in overtime. It was a tough beat for the Bucs who fell to a game and a half behind the Falcons and into a tie with New Orleans for the NFC South.

I don’t think that Atlanta is that much better than Tampa Bay this season. The Falcons had lost 2 in a row before beating Green Bay at home. Atlanta hasn’t covered the spread in 2 in a row. I like Tampa Bay to possibly win this one straight up.

I love the Bucs getting +3.

Week 9 NFL Parlay Pick: Tampa Bay

Tennessee at San Diego
When: Sunday, Nov. 6 at 4:25 pm ET
Where: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
Odds: Tennessee +4

Analysis: The Titans have won 3 out of their last 4. They are a full game behind Houston for the AFC South. The Titans’ D has shown an uncanny ability to stop the rush. Tennessee is ranked sixth against the rush after allowing 82.5 yards per carry. But San Diego’s defense is ranked seventh against the rush. The Chargers allow 86.1 rushing yards per game.

Why do I like Tennessee at +4? It’s all about the offense. The Titans have the best dual-threat QB in the NFL in Marcus Mariota. He’s been exceptional in Tennessee’s last 4 games when throwing 10 TD passes to only 1 interception. He completed 81.8% of his passes against Jacksonville in Tennessee’s last game.

4 points are too many to give to the surging Titans.

Week 9 NFL Parlay Pick: Tennessee

Week 9 NFL 3-Team Parlay Pick

  • Tampa Bay +3
  • Tennessee +4
  • Denver +1.5

Denver at Oakland
When:  Sunday, Nov. 6 at 8:30 pm ET
Where: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA
Odds: Denver +1.5

Analysis: Due to Derek Carr’s excellent leadership skills, the Oakland Raiders beat Tampa Bay 30 to 24 in overtime in Week 8. It was a brilliant game by Carr who threw for 513 yards and 4 TDs. Carr was unbelievable.

He won’t have that same success against Denver’s secondary on Sunday Night. That’s the problem that I see with the Oakland Raiders’ offense. Although it averages 401.6 total yards per game, it leans too heavily on the passing attack.

Not only that, but Oakland’s defense allows 125 rushing yards and 285.4 passing yards per matchup. Denver was excellent when beating San Diego 27 to 19 on Oct. 30.

Week 9 NFL Parlay Pick: Denver
